There wasn’t anything, it is perfect

Perfect views overlooking the mountains, extremely picturesque & peaceful with beautiful grounds. Huge bedroom, bathroom & sitting room. The bed was perfect for my partner who’s 6ft2 & one of the comfiest we’ve slept in. Normal we struggle finding rooms with big beds. We could literally both starfish and still have loads of room. The shower was fantastic, very powerful. Unfortunately we fell asleep before we could soak in the whirlpool bath on both nights, due to the extensive walks. Everything was so clean, really didn’t want to leave.

Dining room - to be fair, it was a little austere and sparse in decoration.

Quiet, rural, no traffic noise, situation handy for Ambleside; Proprietors Jill and Andrew were friendly and obliging, room size and facilities were very good, excellent views from room, everywhere was clean. Service at breakfast times was good.

The location was excellent. Walking distance from Ambleside and several footpaths nearby to start walks. The room was simple, but clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was really good. Great options to keep you going during all morning hikes.

Location was perfect . Lovely walk to the bars , pubs and restaurants snd to the lake . Public transport available if you didn’t fancy the 20 min walk . The B&B was spotless , very comfortable and the breakfast freshly cooked .

We were very pleasantly surprised at how well presented Crow How was (spotless and perfect facilities in the room). Everybody was very friendly and approachable - Nancy in the breakfast room was lovely. The bottle of prosecco for new year was a great, unexpected touch. This is a little gem - we had a fabulous stay!

Lovely Cosy and peaceful guesthouse around half mile (10min) walk from Ambleside. Lovely views from the spacious room 4, which had a fabulous bathroom with spa bath, and power-shower. The room was comfortable and warm. Cooked Breakfast was very good.

We loved our stay at Crow How! It is in an excellent location, a short walk from Ambleside, was cozy and comfortable and the breakfast was great. Its also incredibly good value for what's offered. It's the best accom we have found in the Lake District for a long time!

Fantastic guest house with incredible views...room very clean and comfortable.. Substantial breakfast.. ample parking..only 10 minute walk into ambleside centre...will definitely book again...

Unfortunately we were only there for 1 night however the staff were lovely, great food and people at the pub on the corner! Access to the cliffs was easy and surrounding area beautiful.
