Great location on the high street and near everything which was really convenient. Cosy feel to flat - especially liked the decor in the bedroom. Private, secure & quiet flat with everything we needed both in the flat & on our doorstep. The host send an informative & helpful email prior to our stay.

The location was very good in the centre of Crickhowell. As the bedroom was in the back of a large first floor flat we did not hear any traffic noise or people passing by.

The bed was a little uncomfortable but not too bad.

The location was perfect for the Brecon Beacons and the town was lovely. The annex was very cute and just what we needed. I would recommend for a weekend away.

Not much to mention here! The wifi access was a bit spotty, but we really appreciated the efforts of Clare and the kind attendant working the shop below to fix the issue

Great location, spacious flat, huge bathroom, lovely hot shower, well equipped kitchen, very eclectic decorating made it feel like a home rather than the spartan accommodations typically found on booking sites

WiFi and tv (Netflix) were not accessible. This wasn’t really a problem for me as I was out and about most of the time but it may be an issue for others

Great location. Peasant, airy apartment. Owner was very helpful when asked questions .. despite being in transit herself from S Africa !

Wi-fi wasn't very fast and rather intermittent. It was a lovely weekend (mid 20s) and the flat was warm, so we used the fan provided and it was fine. If it had been really hot, I could imagine it might be a bit uncomfortable - there were no substantial curtains so there would be little you could do to stop the flat heating up during the day. A bit more attention to detail would be good - I had to contact the owner for the key code the day before (despite being told I would be sent this a few days in advance) and a new comments book was needed. The pint of milk in the fridge was a nice touch, although had we known we wouldn't have bought some on our way. The sofa was rather small and so another chair would be nice to allow you to spread out a bit, especially in warm weather.

    Attractively furnished flat centrally located.

Bed was double, which is smaller than I like, but the room would have struggled with a bigger bed. The windows had no black outs, so had to put a black t-shirt over my eyes to sleep past dawn. Worked for us.

Location was excellent with a number of pubs, bakery, butchers, etc. Location is excellent. Place was above a newsagents at the back. Quiet enough. Kitchen was well done, easily cook a meal there. No private parking, but there is enough street parking to be found. Internet was good enough for facebook and a stream of netflix just about. We watched a few episodes and a film. So, good enough.

The bed was small with a small duvet which meant my six foot plus frame was exposed top and side.Parking was a bit of an issue , around the block and the locals did challenge us using their on road parking spaces.

Self catering but was in the middle of town with plenty of choice of eateries.close to pubs and restaurants.Nearby riverside walks and and boat hire on canal.

Took us a while to sort the heating out - thermostat seemed to be low on batteries so turned itself off and we had to look up online how to get it going again. it was very cold the first night as a consequence. TV is Netflix only, but the internet speed was so slow we could not get it to tune in or select any programmes.

Apartment had everything we needed, nicely decorated, excellent location really close to pubs and shops. Free parking is just 3 minutes walk away. Visitor book was useful. lots of thoughtful touches.

We didn't receive the email from the owner with the code for the keys. it was difficult contacting the owner as the number was not working. Eventually the owner rang me because I managed to send an email. But it was very stressful. The owner said that she had sent the email (not in my spam) and that this had happened on other occasions with problems with Booking.com It was not obvious how to get the heating working. there was a wireless device that wasn't responding. I had to contact the owner. We also could not switch the heating off.

The advert says free parking nearby, but this is quite unfair. The owner suggested two car parking sites to me in advance of our trip. One of them is not free but paid. The other is a street with a handful of available spaces for any cars. If you're booking for a busy weekend or a summer visit, you may struggle to park. The WiFi is as bad as everybody says. The internet TV felt pointless. It was a little chilly in the evening and we turned up the radiator as much as we could. There is a generator or something else nearby that is very loud at night when you're trying to sleep. The main door and the bedroom door are both glass, so if your neighbours leave the landing night on, you'll have it shining brightly into your bedroom. A lot of the issues felt like reasonably fixable and have been flagged multiple times, so it's frustrating that they were still the case.

Perfect location, and cheaper than some of the pubs nearby. It's a very pretty flat and I think they've recently decorated, perhaps in response to some previous reviews. For the most part, it was comfortable. It was very easy to check-in and out. Milk in the fridge and Welsh cakes were a nice touch. A few more basic supplies (a range of teas or kitchen staples for cooking) would have gone the extra mile.
