The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and spacious. Really enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast in the morning was tasty but the scrambled egg wasn't for me. We had food at the restaurant on the Tuesday evening it was amazing. The only downfall they don't cater non alcoholic beverages. But all in all me and wife really enjoyed it and will definitely be returning.

The room we stayed in really needed updating and some modernisation. Service in the dining room wasn’t great, could be more welcoming and friendly.

Spa and leisure facilities are amazing, absolutely loved the pool room! We stayed in the standard double room,. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay, however could do with some updating and modernisation. (And some soundproofing, we had a perfect audio of the room above us..I’ll leave you to imagine what they were up too..) but we still Loved the feel of the place, beautiful scenery around too! Food was excellent, shame the same couldn’t be said about the service in the dining room. The older lady who mainly served us wasn’t very welcoming nor friendly, only thing I can say negative about the stay. Was made to feel like we were an inconvenience arriving as one of the later tables of evening. All other staff we met in the reception and spa however were lovely and most helpful!

Unfortunately electrics kept tripping through night causing loud beeping and emergency light to cone on above bed, so we ended up sleeping on settee we didn't say anything because we'd had a well needed weekend away and everything else was great

Lovely location, staff, facilities and food , an ideal relaxation spot, to gave a sister catch up, upgraded to the bridal suite too which was like having our own little cottage

Our room was large with a comfortable good size bed. We enjoyed a special evening for dinner whereby a very good Saxaphone player entertained us the whole evening. Breakfast was good. The grounds are lovely. The staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful, and a special mention for Dennis, the Night porter.

Hot tub was not working at the time of our stay, not a great deal of choice for the menu on the Saturday evening, also our room was completely roasting to the point we bearly slept it was so hot.

We loved that it was out of the way and very peaceful facilities were good and staff were brilliant.

Our room was a little shabby , dont mind dated but the shower head had black mould (was time for a new shower head I think) and there were a few crusted over "ickys" on the walls. We stayed in room 42. Behind the bed very dusty. The drinks prices at the bar almost made me fall over £10.30 for a double malibu and coke but wines were priced as expected .

The pool and spa facilities were amazing and I'd come back again just to use them again the pool was warm and the low lighting was lovely to relax in with beautiful deco and murals, a truly beautiful place . Breakfast was delicious really good quality of everything and buffet style was worth the money definitely. Staff members were all very pleasant and helpful. Room was well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, morning board , extra pillows and hair dryer. We had a good price on the room and would definitely return when the offers on rooms are on.

Staff was the friendliest we stood at bar for over 10 min waiting to be served no one on reception wen we arrived and had to wait ,my room number for door was different to our meal order and drinks was a little bit expensive and no strongbow on tap .

The whole place appeared to have damp or leaks in someway. The staff do their best but it needs an overhaul and money spent on it. You need to factor in taxis for this hotel, however still definitely worked out a lot less than the Celtic.

Affordable, free parking, breakfast was nice. Pool is really lovely, sauna hot and steam room good too. Staff are lovely and friendly and the hotel was clean enough. My room was great and dry. Beautiful scenery, it's quite out in the sticks.
