The free breakfast was nice and healthy - we don't usually eat breakfast so could take stuff to eat later for lunch instead. Staff was super nice, gave good recommendations.

Excellent breakfast provided, including range of cereals, toast, fruit and good filter coffee! Only a few meters walk to pubs and food places and supermarket (very cheap food there!)

I did miss a full English breakfast, but what breakfast was available was very nice. Other than that, there was nothing that I didn't like.

The location was very useful for what I wanted to do in Edinburgh. It was nice and quiet. Having a supermarket so close was very handy. Bus services are close too so easy to get around or walking.

Cost very good 15/20 minutes walk to main shops in Edinburgh plenty of restaurants in the area four minute walk to haymarket train station quiet area this hotel says it does Breakfast it doesn't it provides continental but wasn't bothered a nice cheap hotel friendly staff

Room was quite dark and the mirror/sink are by the window in an angle so no natural light to see anything. We used the main bathroom as it was bright and much better lit to do makeup/get ready.

Breakfast was great! Just a bit of everything for you to have a nice meal before heading out. Really saved us money as we had smaller lunches thanks to it! :)

Nothing much really, the room and accommodation were up to expectations.

The location is great! At the fringe of the city, and there is an Aldi right at the location! The breakfast was great as well, well provided. Overall the stay was really good, highly recommended!

A little bit far for me from the center and railway station. But if you prefer to use public transport or taxis - it is ok (the bus stop is directly around the corner). Also be prepared, that some rooms have only a shared bathroom and lavatory outside the room in the corridor. But the shower itself is in perfect condition.

Very kind and supportive staff. Lidl supermarket is located 50 meters away. Extremely a lot of cafes, and restaurants in the neighborhood. Surprisingly quiet place. Great public transport connection to the city center.

Upper floor visitors need to more considerate to those occupying rooms below.

Breakfast was perfect. Coffee was hot. Surpringly quiet most of the time. Manager very helpful and welcoming.

Interior was okay (after all we stayed here for one night) and clean but it would be great if furniture and fabrics had a lighter and warmer tone. It will help brighten the atmosphere a bit and make it more welcoming. There’s great potential for the guesthouse given its convenient location!! :) Would be nice if the breakfast could be moved an early hour earlier instead of 8 am.

Fairly priced and economic. The location is not too far away from the Haymarket Station and is within walking distance from Princes Street and central areas. Good for you if you have an early flight from the airport. Super big Lidi located right next to the guesthouse and you can get all you need. Many socket outlets in the room and they make charging quite handy. Complimentary tea and coffee provided with a jar of water. Staff whom I encountered were generally courteous and polite. I booked a room with shared shower room but it was quite clean and spacious. Overall it’s quite good.

There was a bathroom in our room, however was small and not very comfortable. Breakfast was a continental one.

Very good contact to the host. He is very helpfull, have got room keys already in the morning, so we we're not binden with the exact and final arrival time. As well helped with parking. Room was nice.
