The hotel is clean and convenient, the staff pleasant and resolved my problems. Breakfasts were good

I booked a large room with 2 double beds but was only provided with a room with one double bed. The staff kindly gave me an additional room for my sister as there were no rooms with two double beds and they said booking.com hadn't provided all of the booking information. We were unlucky in that the rooms allocated to us were noisy at night with machinery running.

The room was good but not what i had booked. However, It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, it was busy on the Sat morning but staff kept it well stocked so wasn't a problem.

It looked like it was still in the 70's carpets needed a good clean and a good hoovering!

The hotel was tired and in need of a good update, room wasn't what I'd expect when paying this kind of money, very basic and in need of a refresh, furniture was basic and knocked around, so generally not to a good standard. Breakfast had good choice and was good quality!

There was an extra payment for breakfast, window didn’t close, shower gel had run out and not replaced, no sockets near the bed and shower was not very powerful

Good location in the centre of Kenilworth, free parking, nice big room and comfortable beds

I st room had no heating. Staff immediately gave us a new room which was good. Soap dispenser empty in bathroom, but rather than replace it another was put on the side as housekeeping would need a spanner to unlock and replace. If the idea is to stop guest pinching them it failed! We stayed for 2 nights, but had minimal beverage supplies. Had to ask twice for extra milk.

Friendly attentive staff and good location

Noisy position, in the middle of a roundabout, surrounded by roads with heavy traffic. Bedroom window was old and difficult to close if opened for some fresh air.

Excellent breakfasts, plenty of options and well cooked. Comfortable room Good position for visiting Kenilworth Castle and the old town.

Dinner from the restaurant was a bit odd and had a lot of Chillis thrown on it. i can’t find the menu from the time to say exactly what I had but it was Japanese/noodles and had some carrots and peas thrown in. I like spice but it just was too much chilli and then rest of the dish didn’t taste of much. Wouldn’t recommend that dish.

Breakfast was good and the ease of check in process. The room was exactly as expected.

The check-in was not as smooth as we had wished: we were given keys to a room, which was already occupied, so we entered the room and saw someone's things there all around the room. This raised concerns about safety! Also, it was quite a challenge to move around with luggage and 2 small children, when we had to move to another room. Also, the room needs maintenance.

The room was spacious and the breakfast included options to choose from for the whole family. The hotel has onsite parking, which helps! Also, a lot of options for dinner around the hotel.

Not enough room for guests to walk around when getting breakfast. Limited choice of hot and cold. Room had mould around window Sill and around bath which did not encourage you to use it. Although we had a family room it was at the front and right above the area the music was being played from. could not close window. Unable to contact reception without leaving room

We was in room 109 which was right over the bar, a little noisy but when the karaoke started I went and asked to be moved as we couldn't hear the t.v., it was like being in the bar ! The guy on the reception, I think Paul was really helpful and did say they dont normally use that room because of the bar noise. We got upgraded to 410, the other side of the hotel which they called an executive room. It was a bigger room with a super king bed, fridge, wardrobe, safe, heated floor and mirror in the bathroom which other than these bits was the same as the first room which was their cheapest room including breakfast. We only stayed one night and apart from the first noisy room which they changed straight away, we had no complaints. We had a good stay.

The rooms are very clean and tidy, tea & coffee making facilities, ironing board and iron, ok hanging area and shelves for clothes in the first room. Walk in shower with all Dove products for you to use in the bathroom. The breakfast was really good, buffet style with full English, continental, cereals, toast, yoghurt, whole fruits, pure juices, tea & different coffees from a machine. Also they had take away cups for the hot drinks.

We booked a family room with 3 adults. There were only 2 mugs and 2 large towels. Care could have been taken to ensure we had enough towels/mugs as they knew our booking requirements. Our towels were not changed, not really an issue as staying 2 nights only. Our toilet roll was not replaced. We tried to call reception but no answer so we ended up using tissues.

Breakfast was good, location was fab. Staff were friendly
