I stayed in room 1 which is on the second floor and near the bar so it might be too noisy for some so I would upgrade to a room on the next floor.I was up till 12 anyway as I didn't have an early start so it didn't bother me and it was very quiet late at night .

The location is great right near the bus station and the food was really good. The Room was very comfortable and clean and all the streaming services were available. The man who runs the place was very helpful and obviously works very hard to make sure he's guests are happy. Also it is a very nice building.

Great choice for our group get together. Bar and beer garden were open all day. My room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great, too. It's in a great location. Easily walkable to everything. I really enjoyed the historical walking tour which was arranged by the hotel.

    Nothing to report

We loved our stay at Denvirs. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant in the evening and stayed for a few drinks afterwards. Great entertainment on in the evening. Our room was lovely and cosy, and a very high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast in the morning was tasty too. We will definitely return to Denvirs.

You need to specify that you book a hotel room and not a mews,I didn't go and look at th mews as I didn't except that I wasn't staying in the hotel itself. But from what I've been told the mews are really nice.

The hotel room was really old world and full of character, the bed was very comfortable and spotless clean.

The heaters were a little hard to use, and the apartment was a bit cold when they weren't on (late march trip with daily temps of 10°c max). No parking provided, but eventually found a public car park nearby that was reasonably priced.

Staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. Apartment was modern and very comfortable and had everything you might need. Location was great, just at the top of the main street in the town. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The room was just a little cold. Otherwise everything was excellent.

I don't think I did request a quiet room and it wasn't which didn't matter much at all.

Historic excellence in a historic city makes for a comfortable, memorable stay.

Check in was a bit confusing and parking was tough to find at first (it was a Saturday night with a huge rugby match on television). However, the staff were helpful in getting me squared away on both.

This historic hotel/pub/restaurant in a beautiful little city is a real find! Food is truly great, staff is even better. The room was decent sized, very clean, and quite comfortable. Breakfast was included and had excellent choices. The history and feel of the place was the icing on top.

Our room was above the bar (I think) and it was a Friday night so it was quite noisy until about midnight. However, if you are also in the bar, then the noise won't disturb you! Check with them first, if you are a light sleeper.

the hotel is in a great location and the staff are more than obliging

Atmospheric old coaching inn located in the heart of the town

While the bedroom was comfortable, it could do with a table and chair. While the food at breakfast and lunch times was very good, it wasn't so good in the evening time. The meat and fish dishes were rather spoiled by poorly cooked vegetables and potatoes.

The hotel is an old coaching inn, which has been done up. The original wooden beams can be clearly seen in the more recent plaster. It's refreshingly different from the global hotel chains. The hotel bar is very atmospheric, being patronised be locals as well as visitors. Good selection of local beers and the Guinness is very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in included in the room rate, and is very good, with a choice of cooked breakfast or cereals. The lunchtime menu is also very good.

We arrived in for dinner at about 7:45 on the 2nd night and the kitchen had already closed which was a bit disappointing. Still it was January/February so perhaps understandable.

Our room in an annexe up the street was huge. 2 double beds. Really clean. The food at dinner the first night and both breakfasts were really lovely. The staff were incredibly friendly and chatty.

The room was out of the main hotel building with about 60m walk outside in the wind and rain to get to the restaurant, They have no car parking or lobby for sitting in as our room was overlooking roofs and air conditioning units, We just didn't feel as if we were part of the hotel

    Nice room food excellent
