5th floor with no elevator and no mention of this in the booking. The amount apartment on the top floor has sloping roof limiting tall people’s useable space. And it gets hot. It would be good to have little more information on how to contact the staff.

The HVAC system was bad. Never could get to work right and just left the windows open when hot. I knew there was no lift but narrow stairs and three flights with two fifty pound bags were tough. Lastly, the shower was slippery and a mat was needed - needed three big towels instead of two.

The view of the City was great. The room was nice and convenient to have a kitchen. Was glad there was a fan in the room.

Steps up to our unit with hand luggage. But took it in stride. I needed the exercise. Limited breakfast options near accommodations. A bit of a jaunt or into train station for bagel. Nothing negative for unit, albeit stairs up.

Location to trams, train, buses. Close to Royal Mile and city sites. The unit was immaculate. The stairs to unit a bit tough, but it’s doable. Slept well and very quiet. Was very pleased would recommend and stay again if I am ever back in Edinburgh from North Carolina.

Check in was poor. Was sent a code when booking months ago - it had been changed, and no notification was given. Had to call office while standing on a busy street, in the rain, all our belongings getting soaked. Management company had changed the code. Thankfully while we were waiting to contact anyone about getting in off the street, 2 people came by and let us in. So much for security, but we were grateful to get out of the rain at least. A text came the next day, a full day AFTER check in with actual info on how to check in. Really poor job they did with check in.

The location was absolutely fantastic. Apartment was nicely presented with everything we needed for our stay. Despite being very centrally located, noise levels (on the 3rd floor) were minimal.

5th floor was a bit of a climb while carrying our 2 year old (there is no lift) and the temperature for a bit hot at night but neither of these issues impacted our stay negatively. It is a beautiful apartment and great location.

Beautiful, clean apartment right across from a picturesque park and walking distance to all the main tourist spots in Edinburgh. We loved the windows that overlooked the city and how bright and airy the apartment felt.
