Joy and Sim were wonderful host. The back yard gardens were as lovely as the inside of home. The most comfortable beds and the cleanest place during our entire trip. Will definitely return.

The only thing (and to me VERY minor!) was that my husband could not locate general terrestrial channels on the TV in our room! I was quite happy just reading :)

We received a very warm greeting from Joy on arrival. We'd had a tiring few days culminating in a reasonably long drive. Her offer of a cup to tea and some lovely biscuits was exactly right! She is an excellent hostess. Always around to help or advise, but not 'on top of one.' The view from the house is magnificent and restorative. We could have enjoyed it all day! Our room was not huge, but exceptionally well appointed and very comfortable. We have already mentioned to to another couple who may need accommodation around that area. The breakfast was delicious. Plenty of fruit and yogurt was on offer as well as a cooked meal.

The breakfast was delicious. The in-home hand-made marmelade is the best I ever tried. The host is very friendly and helpful. The views of a country side are gorgeous.

Nothing - everything was fine. It was like home-from-home! No faults at all.

The quiet country location, lovely scenery, welcoming host. We really enjoyed our stay at Deverill End and hope to return. There was plenty of parking and places to eat within a few miles.

The movement driven shower room light needs altering to stay on longer but this is only a personal opinion and we would not let it deter anyone.

We were welcomed with tea and home made biscuits - yum!! Joy and her husband are friendly and welcoming. Our toom was lovely and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty, hot and plentiful, we would definitely stay again!

Dangerous entrance when it was time to leave, no visibility of approaching traffic. Assistance is needed and was happily offered.

A very accommodating welcome to an immaculate and fully equipped room. Everything was beautifully clean. The garden was equally tidy and visitors should not fail to appreciate the view from the breakfast room.

Liked everything.

Joy and Sim were excellent hosts. The property is surrounded by beautiful countryside and their garden, especially vegetables garden is lovingly nurtured. It is uplifting to see so much greenery and colours of the flowers that surround you. Joy’s welcome tea and home made biscuits were a pleasure. Her breakfast was excellent. Would stay at this property again.

Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom very modern and clean, the food was good, mostly home grown or locally sourced. The hosts were very friendly and informative and we enjoyed their company, the setting was beautiful too.

Had a really lovely stay in Deverill End. Joy and Sim are absolutely wonderful hosts, very accommodating. Facilities were comfortable and clean. Had a nice welcome with tea and biscuits, and the breakfast was delicious and filling. The decor and fixtures in the house and sitting room are rich in history and you can see their attention to detail. The gardens are lovingly maintained, which reflects on the beautiful flowers and vegetables growing on the property. The view from the back garden is stunning, and sitting outside with a cup of tea was one of the many highlights, with a calm and peaceful atmosphere close to nature. We are also quite lucky to spot a hedgehog exploring the garden and some deers running along the nearby fields. Also had a nice walk around the quaint village and to the church ruins.
