Just had difficulty getting the bath water to transfer to the shower.

The cottage itself was really lovely. Clean. Felt welcoming. Hosts were also very helpful. All the facilities you would need and felt like home. Very close to the venue we were attending too. WE SHALL RETURN. THANKYOU 🤩

WIFI was very weak within the property and only managed to get connection in a set part of the property. The boiler in the downstairs toilet at times got very loud but wasn’t too much of an issue.

Very comfy. A lot of effort and thought put into the decor and layout. Very much enjoyed our stay and looking at rebooking for future visits.

The ONLY nitpicky thing I can say is the fan in the downstairs bathroom bangs when it’s windy. Can be a little disruptive for a quiet reader. That’s it though.

TV froze 5mins into first program, then refused to turn off, so no TV... A WiFi speaker would've helped with the silence.

Modern, comfortable, warm and clean. A perfect base for a few days in Brightlingsea. Street parking nearby. Just a few minutes walk to local shops and takeaways.

Key safe. Very small and low down on the wall. The. Bedroom was a little crowded with the large unit at the bottom of the bed,wife hit her feet twice whilst walking through. There is plenty of storage and it's a great bedroom,unit not required for short stays Simple crib sheet for boiler operation timings etc, it turned very cold last weekend .

Spacious very clean, location, great facilities TV fridge washing machine fridge freezer,toaster kettle, internet TV, Two toilets a bonus, modern well controlled gas boiler. Quiet area, Great fish restaurant the Rosebud 6 minutes walk. Harbour area 10 minutes. Great local bus service. Parking nearby To top off great owner who popped in to make sure all was ok.

Nothing really maybe idiot sheets for use of oven and microwave might be handy but not needed in our case. Perfect otherwise.

The property is on the High Street which made not only shopping/restaurants close by but a stroll and you were by the sea with lovely walks along the promenade. The cottage was well equipped plus had a bonus of a downstairs toilet.

How it felt like a home away from home, very good value for money, the cottage is in prime location of brightlingsea, with shops and the beach just a walk away It was the perfect weekend away for me and my boyfriend

Stayed here as needed a quick overnight stay in the local area, the property was well presented and very clean. Thought the pint of milk in the fridge was a very nice touch as able to make a drink on arrival. Plenty of parking available nearby, I would definitely want to stay here again.

Television aerial did not work .. kept freezing, mattress too hard and thin had a terrible night sleep . We left at 6.30 in the morning so we could go home and sleep. Internet was. On existent .. we went to bed at 8 pm after having a late afternoon drink at harbour. We settled down with a takeaway and couldn’t watch anything on tv.. disappointed
