The bed was uncomfortable and we kept getting asked from other folk staying in the place for things like fags and stuff. The sink in the bathroom should have a warning sign as we soaked ourselves when we first used it due to it being so powerful.

We liked the hotel all in, very good value for money. It was only around £31 for the night for the two of us. Good shower and facilities. The pin codes for getting in and out of the building and in the room was good also seeing as there were no staff.

Bathroom sink not been cleaned since last tenant, there was a mouth-shaped toothpaste stain on the tap! Only 1 cheap toilet roll for 2 night stay. :-( Bed was far too soft but the pillows were rock hard like bricks. Street outside was noisy with shouting and late-night argy-bargy, cars passing with loud music, etc. The internal doors lack soft closing mechanisms so they all slam shut with a bang.

Very clean (except bathroom sink, see above) Nice sized room. Good TV. Nice big shower. Communal areas all clean. Good wardrobe/hanging space.

I stayed on 3rd floor. There are no elevators, and hardly any room to carry my suitcase up the narrow staircase(s). This place lack in signs. It's almost impossible to find your room number without leaving your luggage behind and going on a door-number forage. INVEST IN SIGNS TO DIRECT PEOPLE. The kitchen on the top floor had no crockery, cutlery, cups, pots or pans to cook with. The cookers weren't working either. I would have to go all the way downstairs and cook in that kitchen, and because it's small and crowded, I would have to carry my cooked food all the way back upstairs again and eat in the non-working kitchen. The soap trays in the shower hadn't been cleaned - there was soap left behind from the previous 4 guests (yuk). The staff were ok. I found them quite unhelpful when I needed to ask something, and on a few occasions they were behind me and kept saying "excuse me sir....", I would then turn to face them, and they would say (without uttering any other words), "that's ok, thank you"?????????? The light in my room was flashing (I have epilepsy, this is not good). And when I asked for this to be replaced, 9hrs later, 2 staff members knocked on my door, barged past me (without being invited in) and put a dated lamp on the work top in my room. I said "no, the light bulb needs replacing, I don't want a lamp, just replace the flashing lightbulb", and then they stormed out! The light buln was never replaced and I sat in darkness most of the time, so I wouldn't aggrivate my epilepsy. The staff aren't great. As I was leaving the property, one uttered something to me, with a straight, expressionless face, but I don't know what he said. They never spoke clearly. Because of their impoliteness, I never asked them why the upstairs kitchen cookers aren't working. I just let it be.

It is a clean property. The floors are thick and padded with carpets, which was good soundproofing. The room was clean, bathroom and shower were clean. Water pressure was good. Building security was good

Didn't receive codes for access into building and my room until 30 mins after I arrived. My room (1) was a bit noisy as it was next to entrance.

When I arrived the bathroom was not clean , the toilet seat was unhinged and i didn’t think the bed sheets had been changed ( found some hairs ) , I had arrived at 23:00 and no staff was available, they cleaned it the following morning, but nobody wants to sleep in a dirty bad do they

The shower door was broken unfortunately as had come off the runner. You were unable to turn on the bedroom light unless you goto the switch by the main door. A switch near or above the bed would've been nice.

Very noisy, situated on ground floor, near to entrance door, that was slamming through the night. Added to this, a group of smokers, stood outside my window prevented me from having it open. The bathroom floor was stained yellow and was raised off the surface.

Its was quite close to the city centre, easy reach of the shops and facilities.

Was not clear on directions for where you’re room may be in case of a fire no clear signs to shoe an exit routes or fire extinguishers. Did not appreciate the way staff members spoke to you especially when asked a simple question. Also explain to customers how to put the code in for the room as it is confusing for a new customer.

Had a couple of power cuts during the stay. Although fixed pretty promptly, it was disappointing nonetheless. Was advertised ad having a private kitchen but that is not the case. The kitchens are shared on each floor with other tenants - hygiene and cleanliness of kitchen can be questionable at times. Was told there was an iron in the laundry room but could never find it there whenever I went down.

Didn’t love the kitchen. Had a bad experience with theft from a fellow guest (who “borrowed” a charger in an emergency and never returned it). Didn’t love the area.
