Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe Marco Pierre White restaurant was very disappointing. They could not cook a steak and it claims to be a steakhouse! I sent my steak back as it was undercooked and impossible to swallow. I should have read the reviews, never again. Breakfast was served in the MPW restaurant. The selection was superb, but the hot food was cold! Some one had not turned the heat lamp on! Such a shame .
The room was fine, the bathroom a little tired but clean and comfortable. The staff were great, especially Lily on reception who could not do enough to welcome us.

United KingdomThe view from the window was not good - overlooking a roof. There was a noisy humming noise which prevented us from getting to sleep easily (not the air con) . On the second night the tap water was only luke warm. We reported this and the maintainance person held his had under the tap and said its warm. It was not hot enough to wash. He never came back so we had to have a strip wash

United KingdomI have stayed many times here .Mainly because you can park outside .Have room service and it has a walk in shower .Key for me as a solo traveller with some mobility issues . There are no biscuits in room. The Welcome biscuit has nuts ,so is inedible for me ..No pen in room to fill out Breakfast form.Always an issue with the room .This time, no mirror in bathroom and phone handset didn't work . Last time no bolt on door ,had to be replaced and phone had to be replaced .Room service food was very poor. .Soggy chicken to start .Pie crust soggy and thin.Meat in pie gristly .Mash was awful and desert Brownie like a brick .I was too tired and hungry to complain. Impossible to get lids off water bottles .Good job I had brought my own water and biscuits into the room . Hotel is expensive for what it is .Tired looking and cracks in lift interior. The staff hold the place together and are charming and helpful.I feel it's poorly managed and needs updating .
The staff at this hotel are outstanding. All very friendly and super helpful .They are the best thing about this hotel.All should be commended on their customer service and helpfulness.Whoever recruits and trains your staff gets 5 Stars from me .

The food was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. The room looked tired and worn, the pool area was dirty and I didn’t expect to have to pay to use the pool. This was not made clear on the booking and I would expect it to be included, especially as it wasn’t in great condition.

United KingdomOur room seemed relatively modern in decor but other areas of the hotel are feeling dated, although kept clean. There seemed to be multiple maintenance issues. In our room alone was a lamp with a flickering light bulb that couldn’t be turned off, bathroom mirror light broken, bathroom radio broken, extractor fan not working, sink blocked. In the pool changing rooms only one shower was working and some locals said it had been that way for a long time and mentioned other ongoing issues. My wife said it was a similar story in the ladies changing rooms. When you have to pay an additional £5 each to use the facility you expect more really. There were a couple of things I thought were odd about the room: no ceiling light, only dim lamps, made it hard to see what you are doing! Window could not be opened so you have to rely on aircon, just felt a bit stuffy. Lastly, there was a wedding party being held one night where there were multiple Lamborghinis parked outside and at 11pm the inconsiderate rich visitors thought it would be a good idea to sit in the car park revving the extremely loud engines for half an hour, waking all the guests. I overheard a few people grumbling about it at breakfast the next morning. Although this isn’t technically an issue with the hotel, I think the staff should have intervened in the situation, but they appeared to turn a blind eye to it.
Breakfast was a bit above standard with more options than you get sometimes. The restaurant and had a nice atmosphere in the evening. Parking was not a problem. The reception staff were attentive.
