The staff changed our room for us as they advised the annex that I had booked would be too small for 2 large dogs. The room we were allocated was spacious and had a rear door excellent for us and 2 dogs. Very clean friendly staff dog friendly fabulous location. Will definately come back here.

We met up with friends and we all thought the bar was very expensive ! The hotel itself was fabulous.

There was a smell in the corridor, which wasn't pleasant. However this did not affect the room. I had fish and chips in the evening and the fish wasn't nice and I couldn't eat it. The food and drink prices were far too high for the quality. Also no bottled or cans of fizzy drink, only on the pump which I don't personally like.

Nice hotel, recently refurbished, large beds and showers. I had a little dog with me and he was also made to feel very welcome by staff. Nice gardens to sit out in and situated in a fabulous location. Close to shops, the view points, boats and right next to some fantastic walks along the river. Breakfast was nice, plenty of choice.

Gorgeous place, we stayed in one of the annex rooms and it was so comfy and cosy. The bar area is really nice and staff are very helpful. Perfect location to get to everything you want to see.

Staff went above and beyond, our annex room was perfect especially with having our dog with us. Having our own outside seating area outside our room was perfect!! Food was 10/10 and the hotel and rooms were immaculate

Nothing to dislike.

I dont think there's enough room for me to write how beautiful and amazing this place is. From the minute we walked through the door at arrival to the minute we left we were looked after 1000%. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and just went above and beyond to make our staycation with our v.i.p (very important pet) one we will treasure and remember. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, loved the selection. Also the meals at night were so homely and didn't feel like we were eating in a pub, felt very fine dining.

There should be a sign at the property entrance and an advisory in pre-arrival info to indicate parking available via the separate lane, not just in the very cramped area in front.

Breakfasts were excellent, as were the pub and dining room staff. A free drink for not requiring making-up of room on a given day was a very nice and surprising touch. Something similar for a mixup in rooms on check-in would have been a good idea.

The breakfast was ok, it could be much improved. Items were not available, no breakfast menu to look at. A good breakfast is an indication of the quality of the accommodation.

One small thing, it would be a good idea for staff to give you an emergency number at check in in case the card to you room fails to let you in outside of hours. This happened to us in the day and luckily it was sorted very quickly and efficiently by a friendly member of staff in the restaurant. Lucky it didn't happen to us the night before when we were late in as we could have ended up locked out all night as we would have had no clue what to do out of hours

Excellent location with free parking on site. Lovely spotlessly clean and comfortable room, well laid out. Very quiet at night and great choice of breakfast options.
