attention to detail need skirting boards dusty lamp to tiles in bathroom still had grout powder shower panel and mirror need proper clean when bathroom steamed up you could see all the marks

we stayed in room 25 which has a wet room but facilities for disabled we not fantastic , the floor wasn't laid down properly water was every wear , there was a chair to sit on but fixed to the wall , my husband didn’t trust it , there are no grab rails in the shower section , it was very worrying to shower him ,

Next door had their bathroom light on all night which activated the extractor. Bedroom wall sounded like it was vibrating. Noise from other bedrooms, walls too thin.

The curtains were hanging off the rail, so couldn't be closed properly. Couldn't regulate the shower was either scolding hot or cold.

As mentioned above the room we were in was a little cramped and warm.

Dukes Folly is in an excellent location away from the main street but within easy reach of the shops and bars, cafes etc, the beach is also within easy reach of the hotel. On arrival we considering going for the full English breakfast but decided to try the continental breakfast, we are pleased we did, this has got to be the best continental breakfast we have had, plenty of choice, good decision. The room was a little cramped and very warm , but the weather was unusually warm for the time year. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Ideal location for Lord Street and all local amenities. Breakfast was amazing. I just had the continental breakfast. It was superb, everything you would expect. Even a facility to boil an egg.

The extra large double bed was just to large singles pushed together. Premium room was adequate but small.

Parking at £8.50 for 24hrs in the church opposite. No parking at the hotel.

Excellent value for money. Always clean and comfortable and a good choice for the solo traveller.

Great location, hotel was very pleasant. We had a ground floor room just behind reception which was ideal, comfy bed and modern bathroom. The outside seating area at the hotel was really appealing, and we loved the fish pond! The continental breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and we enjoyed it a lot.

Bar closes at 9:30pm which would not suit everybody, especially if going out for an evening stroll.

Easy access on ground floor room. Fabulous food at a very reasonable price. Cold bottled water available to take to room by lift free which was a nice touch. Each member of staff were friendly and helpful. Easy parking as reasonably priced car park opposite the hotel.

Our room was very tired looking and grubby. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and in the twin room we booked the headboard was coming away from the wall

Loved the cooked breakfast. Presentation and taste really good and only £6 per person. Ideally placed for visiting Southport flower show. The prices in the bar were very reasonable. If visit Southport again will definitely stay there.
