Dungallan Country House is our favorite property in northern Scotland. Amazing location and views from the grounds as well as the room. The hosts, Simon and Kristy, are truly making sure that you are feeling at home at all times. Very comfortable rooms, modern bathrooms, and a wonderful breakfast every morning are adding to the allure of the property. We very highly recommend Dungallan Country House for your next stay in Oban.

The only small issue was the walk to town lacked sidewalks for a couple blocks on a steep curvy road which made it a bit unnerving.

Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. It had a fully stocked, very comfortable bar which I've never seen in a B&B before. Location had a beautiful view of the bay and was a short walk to town.

What a stunning B & B. The house has been refurbished to the highest standard and oozes 5 * from the moment u pull up to the place. Breakfast is exceptional as well as the whiskey selection in the bar. The hosts Simon and Kirsty went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! As well as all the staff Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary and there was champagne and chocolates in our room for arrival. Wish I could give this more than a 5 * review. We will definitely come back for another stay. Well done Dungallan.

A negative with a twist…It rained during most of our stay, so we couldn’t enjoy the outside garden.

Simon and Kristy were delightful. Our upgraded room was beautiful and comfortable. The library and bar added to our need for relaxing days.

Nothing! Even the weather was good but if it hadn't been it would have been no problem staying in the house with its well stocked bar, comfortable lounge and library, and tea and coffee provided at any time.

Location was perfect, sea views everywhere. Recent refurbishment had been done to an exceptionally high standard, both for comfort and decor. Breakfasts were excellent, all staff friendly and nothing was too much bother.

One room was a little hot. But it was unseasonably warm in Scotland. Fan fixed the issue.

Wish we had booked a few more nights.

The location on the hill gave you an amazing view of the bay. The property was immaculate with an impressive bar and excellent breakfast options. The service was very good and always attentive. The room was amazing, did I mention the views? The price for this stay is worth it, very happy with everything and would stay again.

Fabulous location, very welcoming and clean. Kirsty and Simon are amazing, very friendly. The complementary bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch as it was our anniversary. Would highly recommend.

Room was a bit on the small side and the stairs steep, narrow and spiral. The staff help with the luggage so that is less of a problem.

Good shower with strong water pressure, comfortable bed, fabulous breakfast, friendly staff, amazing view and a beautiful property.

The house was excellent. Lovely decor with quality fittings. The view from the garden was beautiful. Very comfortable house. Simon was an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
