How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We liked everything about the apartment.There is a pay and display car park right across the street - this is very cheap and can be accessed using an app.
Location was excellent for us. The apartment was clean and had all of the facilities you would need to make your stay comfortable. Communication with Trevor the owner was first class and instructions were very clear. Trevor went above and beyond by decorating the apartments for Christmas...a really nice touch!

It's not that I didn't like this however I feel I should mention that the apartments are on a 1st floor and access is via quite steep stairs.
There wasn't really anything I didn't like. All was very easy and manageable. Communication with Trevor worked relatively well. The Apartments are fairly central in the town of Strabane. Very clean, beautifully furnished, spacious. Trevor even provided tea coffee etc. Has all mod cons and TV's in every room. Some toiletries are also provided. Car parking is directly across the street. It's paid/public parking however very safe and inexpensive. I used the Just Patking App to top up. Parking is free overnight. All in all it was truly excellent I can't fault anything and my weekend stay was very comfortable and stress free.

No free parking facility available. We paid £30 in the pay and display car park opposite for the 3 nights which was used as a race track in the night so was extremely loud when revving their engines and beeping their horns. Just the one bathroom / toilet which was a struggle at times with 6 people sharing.
The keys were in a lock safe which was handy when collecting and returning the keys. This also helped when people were coming home at different times of the day / night. Beautiful accommodation and brilliant location for our trip. Will definitely be using this accommodation when we book our return visit.

The streets of Strabane were busy and noisy, and it was hard to cross a street on foot. At night local boys would make dreadful noise with their cars. We also noticed there was no fire escape. Since the windows did not open fully, the only escape route was the one set of narrow stairs.
Being in town center it was convenient for us who were traveling by foot or taxi. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable.

My youngest daughter wasn't too pleased with the box room or the bunk beds.
Beautifully decorated apartment in great location. Ideal for visiting North Ireland. Loved the decor and furniture. Super comfortable big beds in two tooms.

Only 1 bathroom for 6 people was a bit of struggle to get ready in the morning. The bedroom at the front was very noisy due to the cars passing down the street.
The choice of furniture in the apartment was great, loved the overall decoration. Very practical with the setup of a dining table for 6 people and comfy chairs in the living room. The bedrooms were huge with all the amenities provided.

The location was perfect and the host was very kind to us and make sure we had smooth stay. He even let us check out bit late which was very helpful. Thank you trevos. Google maps doesn't bring you to the apartment, it brings to the adjacent street (so keep an eye out for the shop in the photos)
Very spacious and clean. Great facilities in the apartment (oven, washing machine, plenty of cutlery and kitchenware). Lots of storage in the bedrooms. Radiators were easy to use and heated the apartment quickly.

For a family of 5, there was only 3 dining chairs so we couldn't have a family meal together at any stage. The power in the shower was very weak and so my 2 daughters who have long thick hair, couldn't wash their hair. The sink in the bathroom appears to be partially blocked.
It was very central to the town of Strabane. Property was modern and very clean. Beds were comfortable. The owner responded quickly to any queries we had.

Not really. All inconvencies could be solved very fast by the host.
Very convenient location in the center of Strabane. The free parking is just around the corner, Derry is in 20 minutes drive, Republic of Ireland 5 minutes. The host is very friendly, the apartment equipped with everything one needs. There are plenty of cafes in the town that offer take away as well. The big shop is open 24/7.

Location was perfect for us, we have family in Strabane and surrounding areas so couldn’t have asked for a better location and the apartment itself is probably one of the best we have ever stayed in, it had everything!
