Lovely room, was clean and spacious, was nice to have our own fridge, lady of the house was very pleasant, breakfast was nice and you can pick and choose breakfast items of your choice and could pick our time ,would fully recommend it for a nice peaceful stay 🥰

First off we were welcomed very warmly by the hosts, when we went up to the room it was spotlessly clean and really nice decor, the entire b&b had wonderful decor throughout, including lovely paintings. It was a very quiet room, good shower, fridge and bed was very comfortable, we both slept soundly. Breakfast in the morning had a great menu, and both of our breakfasts were delicious and perfectly cooked, served with a smile! Had lovely conversations with the hosts and felt we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay on our first weekend away together.

Nette and Colin were lovely and friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and kept making sure we had everything we needed. There was a good selection for breakfast and said we could mix up the options if we wished. Fabulous assortment of animal milk jugs, etc came out each morning. Our room was clean and bright, had a sofa bed which made the room more comfortable and a good size ensuite. The house it's self, in the perfect location, has a charm, with a high standard of decor topped off with locals art work. I highly recommend Durham House Hotel and would stay there again when we next visit.

The room was a good size and the location is fantastic . A relaxing few days with exceptional hosts. Parking was fine though during summer it may be more difficult. Breakfast was great. Good local dining places available.

The only downside is having to park in public car park a few minutes walk away but it won’t prevent me visiting again.

Lovely clean room. There was milk and water in the fridge on arriva, which was a nice touch. Very cute and quiet bed and breakfast for a relaxing stay. Very friendly hosts and a tasty breakfast in the mornings. Great location, short walk to the sea and great base to explore the area.

There was nothing we didn’t like

It’s super central in Beer and really close to a car park which is always handy! The property was clean and lovely throughout (I particularly loved the tiles in the entrance!). Breakfast was also absolutely delicious and Nette and Col were super lovely! We’ll definitely be back!

Nothing - it was fab!

Breakfast was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Nette and Col were so friendly and welcoming, really knowledgeable of local business and restaurants and went the extra mile to get us booked in to Gina’s at late notice. We couldn’t ask for better and will definitely return next year.

We really liked the freshly prepared breakfast with a great choice of dishes. There is something for everyone and they even cater for vegetarians and vegans. The hosts are always ready to engage in a friendly and warm conversation making you feel at home.

The room was lovely, spacious with a very comfortable bed and good TV and wifi. I was sent a message to say my room was ready early which was very thoughtful. Breakfast was delicious and with plenty of choice. I had a really good stay walking the coast path and enjoying Beer. The hosts and other guests were very friendly. Highly recommend
