Most places these days include breakfast in the price I feel like it would have been a little more worth the money if it was included.

Location was ok. Not much around apart from the beach and a couple of other hotels but we don’t mind walking. The pool was nice. The staff were very friendly and approachable. Made me feel welcome :)

Lift broke, room on the 3rd floor, my wife has arthritis so going to the room and back was very painful.

The pool is small and the changing rooms were claustrophobic. The facility is in the basement and the layout is like a rabbit warren. Did not feel relaxing at all.

The first room we were given was so very small, the bed was shoved against a wall. This was unacceptable to us. The staff sorted us out a slightly bigger room. The staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was good.

My ceiling lights didn't work but I also didn't report it as there were plenty of other lights, over and beside the bed. The reason for not reporting was I spent probably ½ a waking hour in the room. The rest was sleep!

Very nice entrance hall, friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is an old victorian great, that has been well maintained. Some of the original features are clearly present. The rooms are very comfortable and have been modernised with up to date furnishings. The heating is incredible, and the air-conditioning was a God send. My bathroom had recently been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard. Great shower complimented this.

Room was to hot. We did take mini fan which adequately kept us a little more comfortable. Air con wasn’t covert good. I did pass it on, and was thanked so they could look into it.

Bathroom very small. Prefer king size bed. Small car park so full when we arrived.

They took £100 for my credit card apparently by the mistake, but was me who has to chase back for refund , staff only apologize and not offer compensation or some kind of discount for stay

The family I travelled with were adults. They had a separate room. I asked on arrival for a room with a stand up shower rather than/or in addition to a bathtub. (I'd like that to be a filter on your booking format). The only room the could give me was a "family room" which was large and included a set of bunk beds we did not need. The mattress on our bed could be improved upon. The bathroom was nice but small. There was an elevator but it was very slow and tiny. The carpet went half way up the walls of the elevator and we did not feel it was very clean. The young lady on the front desk when we arrived and was on again during our stay was without any welcoming personality. Just stated what we needed to pay for breakfast and parking. My family members had a room with a tub in the bathroom. It was spacious and comfortable. They used the pool and gym which they said was very nice. We did not use any spa services. The breakfast buffet was good and the dining room staff very nice, friendly and accommodating. We had dinner there one night and it was good. The bar had a lovely big coffee machine but apparently the bar tender couldn't work it as I was told a decaff latte was possible and then it wasn't because he didn't know how. I feel for the price, the breakfast should be included and also the parking. It adds a lot to the cost especially when renting two rooms. Locationwise it's easy to get to but there are no shops or coffee shops/bakeries etc near the hotel. There was a bus tour staying at the hotel when we were there. They seemed to be well looked after. However, later in the season this could possibly make the hotel very busy. There were relatively few other guests when we were there so we had no trouble parking etc. The parking is at the back and the only way in is the front door with steps so if carrying luggage is an issue might not work well for some people.

The hotel looked tired in places - the sauna didn't work and you need a £1 coin for the lockers in the pool/Spa. Towels and access key from reception which we weren't told about when we checked in.

The room itself was lovely and clean. Great breakfast and staff really helpful. Managed to park in the car park and the location was great for the BIC , shops and beaches.

It's not in the best location and quite an old hotel but clean and comfortable. Too many badly behaved children in the pool.

Very helpful friendly staff. I felt very comfortable with my dogs. Lovely leisure Good breakfast.

To may stairs, making it very difficult for less mobile people. The entire place could do with a new paint job. The bed and pills where very hard and uncomfortable

The food was really good, both breakfast and dinner. As well as bar food.
