Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

This is such a great little guesthouse. I’m a guesthouse owner in italy myself so finding this little gem was amazing as it’s round the corner from my daughter for visiting her. Breakfast is so good! Train station is a 4 minute walk. Room is clean and bright and so reasonably priced. Fast WiFi was a must as I had to work and it was good. I’ll definitely be back and have also recommended all my daughter and her partners relatives to go there 😊

Great location and really appreciated the free car parking. Breakfast was of a good standard. Excellent value for money. Would definitely visit again in the future. Garden looked great too, though it wasn't warm enough to enjoy it.

There were quite a few rooms for the single bathroom and I was glad that there were few people staying so I could get in the shower when I wanted. Go at a busy time and it would be a different story. Couldn't quite beleive that the receptionist couldn't show me where the hotel was located on the free map of Hastings they were giving out!
Good size room for one person. Car parking on site (but not a lot). Situated near St. Leonards station and not far from the main road along the seafront so well located. Walk to the Old Town in about 30 minutes so no need to drive and look for parking. Not much in the way of eateries nearby but worth a walk down the road leadig to the station.
