We loved EVERYTHING about this stay. It had everything we needed. The lodge was clean and modern with log cabin features. The location is beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. Paul the owner was lovely. They went the extra mile by having hot tub & wine ready on arrival.

The dog could get out of the deck / garden area, it would be ideal if this was fenced in more - our dog is only 5 months old so running off to see the wildlife was too tempting for her so we kept her on lead. I didn’t like the idea people can visit to fish, we came back from the shops and someone was sitting fishing right outside which meant we had to shut the blind, I didn’t realise this was a day fishing lake.

Everything was perfect! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect, it was very peaceful. Hot tub was fantastic. Will be back

Everything was exceptional! The lodge was perfect. It was very clean and tidy. All amenities were available including robes, toiletries, hair dryer. The little added extras were fab too. Dog bowls, cleaning supplies, great range of cookware and milk for morning cuppas! We travelled with two dogs and the host was so welcoming of them. Great location to walk with some beautiful scenery. We will definitely be back in the future, maybe for a couple of days because we just loved it so much. Well needed, relaxing break. Thank you!

Everything was perfect

Everything that is needed is there. It’s beautiful and lovely and warm. Coming from the hot tub to the inside was the perfect transition and no chance of getting cold as beautifully heated. We read previous comments and everything was rectified which shows that as guests you are listened to

Beautiful location beautiful cabins with everything you need and more very cosy very clean and comfortable bonus of a nice relaxing hot tub very relaxing and quiet location with very helpful and friendly staff. One of my favourite destinations. Can not wait to return.

The location was amazing - the lodge was so cosy, even with the -5 temperature outside. The snow made the surrounding area so picturesque!

Everything was pretty much perfect! The only recommendation I could make would be to add a couple of hooks near the door for coats and an extra mat for muddy shoes, especially for the winter.

The cabin is really comfortable and well equipped, the location is outstanding, the facilities are great (well equipped kitchen, big bathroom, good heating, cute private terrace with hot tub). The cabin is surprisingly big, we went as a couple with a dog and it didn't feel packed.

Very minor points, perhaps a couple of more comfortable seats and a shelf or rack in the shower for toiletries. More signage on the road to indicate the location of the lodge.

Lovely position on the side of the lake. Private hot tub. Helpful owners who responded very quickly to requests. Well appointed kitchen and lovely outdoor space. Very welcome wine, water, tea and coffee provided for arrival.

Chairs in the dining area/kitchen were a little uncomfortable but everything else was great.

It was scenic, remote, tranquil and was very clean. The owners were very accommodating and friendly and nothing too much trouble. Also, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Will definitely be back again and highly recommend to others.

No comfy chairs .. for eg where the table & chairs were maybe a small sofa for the tv & a fold down table & chairs instead but this was just my personal opinion it didn’t spoil our stay.
