Although there was an excellent shower the base was quite small. May benefit from a glass screen rather than curtain.

The privacy and the hot tub were the most important factors. Compact cabin with lots of useful kitchen gadgets. The 3 single beds suited a small family. Nice and warm, held the heat well. Plenty places to walk and visit near by. Lovely post office in nearest village with a good bakery.

This was our second time staying at East Learmouth Lakeside Lodges, we love it! So quiet, brilliant for a relaxing weekend away. The hot tub is amazing. We will be returning next year no doubt.

Not a massive thing but it can be a little overcrowded for 3 people to stay in a chalet, but that didn’t cause much problems overall at beautiful stay Will definitely come again and Paul was lovely host was there if we had any further concerns :)

The handle to the bathroom door was broken and the shower tray at the bottom has a crack in it, not the end of the world though it all still worked fine

It’s the perfect size for a couples getaway, had everything we needed provided, the lake and wildlife were absolutely stunning. If you are thinking of staying the fridge has a small freezer inside (we didn’t know this so didn’t bring any frozen food)

This was perfect for a quiet and relaxing couple of days. The views from our window were lovely and we were nice and cosy in the cabin. The hot tub looked fab but it was a bit wet and miserable when we were there so didn’t brave it. We somehow got ourselves a little lost when we arrived but Paul and James were on hand to lead us to the accommodation. We loved our stay and very much look forward to returning.

Idyllic location, so peaceful and quiet - all you can hear is the occasional quack from the geese on the lake. Beautiful lodge with everything you need for a comfortable stay - the hot tub was a huge bonus!! We also booked the horse riding which id thoroughly recommend, Maggie was a wonderful person to ride with around the amazing fields where we saw lots of deer, hares, pheasants and geese on our ride! Thank you so much, we’ll be back!

The lodges need to be sign posted from the main road , then also at the farm entrance , as we and another couple got lost , as our sat nav took us a different way , that’s our only complaint

Cannot fault a single thing!

Absolutely perfect! Everything you could have wanted being as remote as it was. Lodge itself was amazing. Great size kitchen with everything you could need, oven, hob, microwave, 2 bar stools to look out into the lake enjoying your meal. Pots, pans, cutlery etc. Comfortable bed (however the bed is high so if you're short like me you'll need to bunny hop into bed 🤭) it snowed our full duration being there which was magical. Whilst the lodge has heating, it can get cold too however we found a portable fan heater in the under bed storage which did the job perfectly. Bathroom has everything you need too, shower was perfectly hot and able to vary the temperature. TV in the bedroom has freesat to watch. If you're looking for something to get away from 'daily life', you need to book here. Phone signal and Internet signal is very temperamental which forces you to be away from all of it. Hot tub was amazing!!! Relaxation is second to none at this place. Fantastic to look out onto the scenery at night with the lights on in the hot tub and take in your surroundings of nature. Paul was on hand at any given point and quick to reply to any messages we had. Amazing host! I hope to be back here some point in the future.
