Lovely house with easy access to Stromness and all the main areas of Orkney. The beds and sofas were comfortable. Dining area was lovely and the kitchen was well stocked.

I had originally booked a cottage for a couple of nights for work locally and was informed that I was being moved due to a lodge due to an issue at the cottage. This was a great touch from the host and the lodge was exceptional. I believe I will be booking again after showing pictures of the lodge to my partner. Absolutely fantastic accommodation.

The instructions were clear and the key collection was easy, despite the stormy weather. The facilities were fantastic - clean, neat and everything I needed for a more than comfortable stay. Would highly recommend this hostess & cottages/lodges.

Great service from our host! It was no problem to get an early check-in to drop our bags after we arrived from the ferry. When our ferry off the island was cancelled due to bad weather it was possible to stay another night and when the ferry suddenly did go causing us to check-out late and having to cancel this last minute extra night, that was again no problem. All the while communication via whatsapp went very smooth. The accomodation itself was very spacious and clean and from the bedroom we had a calming view of the sheep. Truely a place you can call home during your stay!

It felt like a real home away from home with excellent kitchen facilities, dining area, and living room. We were especially grateful that the host could accommodate us a couple additional nights as our ferry was cancelled due to uadverse weather conditions.

Could have done with a longer bed, no an uncommon problem for me as I'm quite tall. You are asked to dispose of your rubbish in the bins provided at the end of the cottages on departure, unfortunately there were no bins there so we took our rubbish with us

The shower was a little bit small.

Wonderful place, with beautiful views across the island. Easy walking distance of Stromness. The lodge had everything we needed and was so cosy and warm. Stromness was a great base for exploring the islands.

Sofa over-large and dominated the living space. Maybe past its best; not at all comfortable. Very harsh, cold lighting in the living area. Big over-emphasis on Covid prevention and "infection risk" in the joining instructions. We're not in 2020 any more. Need to move on. Not sure why key-code had to be texted on the actual day of arrival and not before? We have been island-hopping with intermittent phone reception. Caused unnecessary stress.

A very new property in among a group of other holiday-lets, on a hill above Stromness. Very clean and modern. Spacious bathroom, well-equipped kitchen. Parking right outside door. Easy to find with excellent directions from both ferry and other directions on the island. Good WiFi.

Generic instructions covering all properties makes it confusing. Would be easier for us if only instructions specific to our cottage was relayed to us.

Very clean and new. Spacious and well equipped, comfortable bed and lounge.Sorry we could not stay longer. Best accommodation we have had on our trip so far and very reasonable price. We had a one bed cottage. The only suggestion I have would be to email a map of how to get there with the information package. Very helpful lady on the phone directed us there. Thank you for our stay.

the beds were extremely uncomfortable and there was mold all in the bathroom on the ceiling and on the caulk.
