Too BASIC and SMALL for £70 per night as a solo person

The room was insanely small, there was barely room to walk, not worth £70 per night Also for the whole night there was a constant noise of a fan and I could hear water running in the pipes from other rooms - didn't sleep much to be fair. The window was not a window but just a glass as it couldn't be opened for fresh air not even for 5cm. The toilet was so tiny, to use the sink I had to put one foot inside of the shower plate, which is not nice I think! and they only provide one towel by default. I think is TOO BASIC for £70 per night as a solo person and £70 for a couple as well

Personell was extremely kind and helpful

A decent room for a 1 night stay on a budget.

The room and ensuite were much smaller than I was expecting and it was a tight squeeze to shower behind a curtain resulting in water spill. I had also to store clothes on the floor as there was no room chair. The city view turned out to be the back of an adjacent building and the bed pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable

This hotel is in an excellent location, 5 minutes walk from Buchanan St Bus station and te city centre. It was also a 10 minute walk to my destination at Strathclyde Sport which was my destination. On arrival, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was of a good size and was comfortable with a suitably warm duvet. The shower had a good pressure and temperature. The tv was in good working order and well positioned above the foot of the bed.

The view, the size of the room for two persons, a missing place to put the recharging devices.

The location of the hotel was great, near the center of the town.

Very small, just room for a bed and the toilet was nearly in the shower. My husband used the shower which soaked the toilet and everything else due to the small space. No Wi-Fi that we know of or told about, pillows were very flat. No option of another pillow if needed. Definitely not worth £98 for one night. It is advertised as city centre but was a good 10 minutes out of the main centre

It was clean and reception staff helpful

The room was very small but okay for just one night. The "bathroom" was really uncomfortable, the toilet and the shower were literally in the same spot.

The position was great, in a few minutes walking we were at the city center.

The shower is really small. If you are a big person, you might struggle. Saying that, it is like a wet room on a boat. Everything can potentially get wet.

Clean , basic. All you need if you want a bed and shower. Upgrade from a backpacker dorm.

That my room was ready when we arrived but it was £20 if we just wanted to throw our bags off and head to the game instead we just paid £5 for a locker.

Windowless room. Thought no windows would be okay but woke up through the night feeling very stuffy. This actually lasted after we checked out. Air quality was terrible. Had to put the air conditioner on which made constant noise instead. It was a balance between two versions of a bad sleep. Very very cramped layout. Two people trying to move around at the same time meant bumping into each other. Asked for an iron but there was no ironing board or any flat surface really. Everything just felt like it was harder to do than it would’ve been in a better room. I woke up at 5am and couldn’t get back to sleep because it was legitimately hard to breathe. Considered going all the way downstairs and out just to not feel so claustrophobic. Scottish rainstorm stopped me.

Easy to check in. Staff friendly. Good location if you’re attending something at the Hilton Doubletree across the road and cheaper too.

Value for money wasn't great. It's cheap for Glasgow but even with that in mind, over 200 pounds for 2 men for 2 nights is a lot with these standards. Stairs leading to the rooms were dirty and there was a smell of vomit in the stairwell. Room is very cramped and the shower made an awful racket when being used.

Conveniently located and the beds were comfortable enough.
