There was nothing to dislike.

Eden Green Guest House is in an ideal position in Keswick, just a few minutes walk from the centre and all the town's amenities. A hot drink and homemade cake were waiting for us when we arrived, Mick and Sue welcomed us with open arms and I instantly felt like we had known them for years. The rooms were really inviting and spotlessly clean. There was a good choice of breakfast options, stayed as a family of three, we were all well fed. The couple have a vast knowledge of the surrounding area, we are not a family of walkers but Mick suggested a superb walk which afforded us some excellent views and was within our capabilities. A lovely guest house with really welcoming hosts, would definitely recommend!

Room was quite small, ideal for myself as a solo visitor but would have been a squeeze if my husband had been with me. I knocked my knee on the end of the bed a few times as hidden by the bedding.

The place was very clean & I was well looked after, accommodated me well as a vegan 😀 I would definitely return for another visit. Mick & Sue were lovely as hosts.

Not really a complaint but for a big bloke the shower was a very tight fit..! I would also have like some more comfortable pillows.

Location was great, Mick and Sue are lovely people and the breakfast was very tasty. Very well equipped bathrooms.

only one little gripe, our bed was too soft, but i know it would be impossible to cater for all preferences

Mick and Sue were lovely hosts, they run a fabulous B&B and we wouldn't hesitate to re-book when visiting the area again. Eden Green was warm, welcoming and cosy. The rooms are tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. I loved the really nice touch of a Birthday card from Mick and Sue which was placed in my room as I was celebrating a Big Birthday. We were competing in an event called Race The Sun and we had four bikes with us which Mick was happily able to securely store for us to keep them safe.

Parking is on the street and we had to park a couple of blocks away on the first night.

The hosts were friendly and very caring. They provided advice on good restaurant options and local walks etc. The room was large and very comfortable and the included breakfast was excellent.

Very welcoming, thoughtful and accommodating staff. Great location and super tasty breakfast. From greeting us at the door to hugs at the end, Sue and Mick were nothing more than perfection. We stayed in room 1 which was pleasantly cool while we had a mini heatwave, also nice and quiet. A spacious room and ensuite, super comfy bed and lovely coffee and biscuits. The location is ideal for a short walk into Keswick but also hitting the road if you are going out of town. There was always a parking spot within a stones throw of their building. Sue and Mick were knowledgeable of the area and more than willing to help and there was a trove of maps and books to assist as well. Finally, a fantastic breakfast to get you started for the day, and plenty of other options if you're not a full English type, fruit and cake to take with you on in your travels too, great little touches.

The room was very small which was ok as we jdont spend a lot of time in room. Bed was uncomfortable & the English style of duvets is hot for warm nights. A top sheet & cotton or light blanket would have been easier. We were able to slide our open suitcase under the bed as there was no space for it. Room was 3rd floor so not suitable for people who find them difficult to use

Great location, short walk to town centre & attractions. We’re able to park in the street, friendly hosts & breakfast dining provided opportunity to talk with other guests if you wanted.
