Well there was only 2 shower rooms and it took a while before we used them. But, that was just the building it self.

It was in a good location and the bed were confutable. The breakfast facilities were very and lots to chose from such as fresh eggs.

The towels are so small! A few other travellers staying here also agreed how the towels were like a tea towel. Please get normal sized towels. Pillows are awful- too soft and lumpy. Would be a good idea to have 2 pillows per person as one is not enough. Otherwise a comfortable bed. It’s on a noisy popular road.

Walls are very thin and I woke up any time anybody moved around eg. To go to the bathroom. Some of the DIY could do with a touch up eg. Some paintwork. Bed was fairly cheap and uncomfortable. Glass window (frosted) on bedroom allowed light and sound.

Amazing location. Clean bathroom. great for a cheap central one night stay.

Breakfast could be much better by changing small details. For example, offer individual butter and jam instead if having big jars. We didn't have breakfast there just because it wasn't hygienic in my opinion. Coffee was bad too. Some people on the other rooms were very noisy, I know you cannot control that but it is what happens now with the self checkin, nobody is there anymore to control anything.

You cannot ask for more for the price you pay. It is in the royal mile so right in the centre, and it was also very clean.

Our room had a frosted glass window on the door, not a problem with privacy but it would've been nice to have a curtain to block out the light from the hallway.

Handy location, straightforward check in instructions and has everything you need.

Someone did come to do some repairing in one of the rooms early in the morning but eh, it has to be done some time and really we weren't here to sleep all day.

Good location on Cannongate, 5 to 20 min away from most sites. 2 bathrooms with shower and toilets, decent to host 4 different travellers/groups in 4 different rooms with individual keys and codes. Complimentary cereals/bread/coffee/eggs in the kitchen for breakfast also a nice gesture.

Unfortunately the shower flooded onto the nice bathroom rug, making the whole toilet floor very wet. Not sure how this can be prevented.

Superb location, very central and convenient. My room looked out onto street (Royal Mile). Excellent pub across road with traditional music.

The toilets were a bit small

The location is perfect for anyone wanting to be close to the city centre while still having peace and quiet. The room was great clean, warm and the beds were very cozy. The owners were great very helpful and responsive to messages, also we could even leave our things in the bnb for the day while exploring which was great.

Nothing really considering the bargain-basement price.

It was central, cheap, clean and warm. Shared facilities. Basics for self-arranged breakfast in shared kitchen were there: tea, coffee, milk, cereal, bread etc. I left early to get the bus to EDI for an early flight. It worked pretty well for a curtailed overnight. Access arrangements were well-explained.

The property was small . Very small bed room with a glass window on the bedroom door . I had to put up a towel over the window to stop folk seeing in the room when the lamp was on . Shared toilet and shower room and kitchen . So trying to get a shower or the toilet in the morning when other people are trying to do the same wasn’t good . Check out 10a.m . It was like staying with strangers . Someone stole my food out the fridge . Also someone was smoking . It was stinking of cigarette smoke.

Property was in a good location . Down the royal mile .

Not en suite (but the clue is in B&B, so can't moan). Not everywhere in the building was the same high standard as the room (but was all clean, and appeared to be under renovation). Really early checkout. (OK if you have to travel onward early, but I didn't) Kitchen layout was poor when crowded (toaster on dining table) Pin for key did not match the one supplied by booking (it was actually sent in a message, but I missed it due to mobile data not working, staff made aware of this, I don't think they were aware of the code originally supplied ) No QR code for WiFi (my phone can generate them, so I let staff take a picture, and hopefully this will also be resolved)

WiFi - encrypted with password, no login page. Nice room (without TV). Yorkshire tea in kitchen. Clean. USB charging points. Thermostatic showers in (shared) bathrooms. Post it with name on room. Really easy to get to coach station after. Easy enough for bus from airport. Communication was mostly good

Please some hooks to hang clothes in the room and a mirror (there was only one hanger for two people). The bathrooms were still under construction, they looked unfinished, the one closer to the entrance door had seriously flaking wall paint from moisture exposure.

Accommodation was in walking distance of all major attractions and train station, it was reasonably priced. It was nice to be able to make breakfast (eggs, milk, bread, coffee, tea etc was provided). We did not meet any staff, but getting access to the accommodation was straightforward.
