I would have preferred it if our bar fridge had been in our room rather than just outside in the corridor. But maybe it was a space issue because we had a double bed and a single in the room.

Great location and easy to get into the centre of town. The shared bathrooms were kept clean at all times and there was only a bit of a wait on one morning, otherwise it didn't even feel like we were sharing. The property in general was neat and tidy and check in was easy, with a key box system.

Cleaning in the rooms is not perfect. There is a lot of dust on the shelves and in the closet. Champagne corks were lying under the bed. The Wi-Fi signal was constantly disappearing. TV with a burned-out lamp, half of the screen is dark.

The shared toilet was not a good idea as one toilet for 8 people is not enough and feels very embarrassment when one is knocking and someone else from other room is inside. Moreover, the beds base was not proper as the wooden base was not properly fixed.

Electrics look dodgy with too many extension cables. Soundproofing poor. Snorer next door. Squeaky door needs oiling. No explanation about a fridge outside the room . No provision of UHT milk. Arrived late so had to go out to get milk, last minute when tired. Pillows are very poor quality. Bedlinen was very old,needs replacing. No wifi advice or notice. Only one teaspoon for 3 people.

The location was fabulous. The room was well equipped. Plenty of space. Very comfy able. The owner came to check we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

All the doors were quite noisy and especially during the night it was disturbing. I would welcome one chair at the room and some cutlery and plates as well. It was not as close to the city centre as I expected but there were 2 bus stops in close proximity. Some might find the shared bathrooms inconvenient.

The host was very hospitable and kind. The price of the stay was excellent and the place was very tidy, clean and warm. I liked that the accomodation provided towels as well. Toilet paper was always in stock.

You can hear noises from other room but that you can expect for the rates they offer. I cannot complain because we enjoyed with a group friends and the next door were laughing too. Don't expect pure silence.

Nice pretty apartment, 20 mins walk from Waverley station. A little far if you want to explore more of old Scotland but buses are available. Host are very helpful.

I would appreciate if more attention was paid to the dust and a bit of dirt on (and inside) the bed-side table and wardrobe, otherwise everything was nice and clean. We spent there 3 nights and on one of the nights, there was no hot water running in the shower, but we managed it somehow. It's true that 2 bathrooms are not enough for the amount of people, but we never waited more than 10 minutes to get there. The mayor problem is that the bathrooms get dirty too quickly as many people use them (for example, one night our washing basin was clogged because one of our neighbours had been washing her clothes inside), but they cleaned the bathrooms everyday, so I would say that the quality of accomodation was quite pleasant as well as the prize.

The staff was super friendly, we appreciated they always asked if we needed something (new towels, bed linen etc.). Everything was nice and clean, even the shared bathrooms, as they came to clean it everyday. Our room had everything we needed - towels, fridge, toaster, kettle, TV, cups, coffee, tea, hair dryer and wardrobes with hangers. The self chech-in and check-out process was also very comfortable. Great location for great price!

No staff present even at 6 pm. Instructions for entry given by WhatsApp. Felt more like an informal Airbnb style setting. Shared bathrooms, but okay for price.

one of the bathrooms kept having issues: hot water stopped running mid shower twice, which was really uncomfortable I had to run upstairs and downstairs looking and waiting for an empty bathroom. one bathroom was out of service the entire 5 days, which is not good as there are a lot of people using those.

Great location, the room was basic but comfortable. The bathrooms were nice and recently redone. Electric kettle and fridge in the room were a nice touch, a few plates and cutlery would have been nice to eat breakfast.

They don't offer breakfast. Staffs delayed in answering your questions. They have to set up rules for all the guests. When we stayed here, some of the guests are drunk and one of them slept on the floor next to toilet on the second floor wearing underpants only.

The room is spacious. Very close to bus stop, it is only one minute walk. Many restaurants nearby so you wont feel hungry. It is close to local supermarket.
