There was no elevator in the building we were staying. As great as the courtyard was in the day, it was a little noisy at night. We also had some heavy walkers above us the first night.

Loved the location, was literally a 2 minute walk to the Roman Baths and the Abby. We were a family of three, so having the extra bedroom for our daughter was perfect. The main room was very large as well as the bathroom. Loved the view of the little courtyard.

It was a bit warm and hard to cool down as our room was below ground level and the bathroom was lower still with no external ventilation so showering really warmed the whole room, and the one window didn’t create enough airflow. We were also below the main hallway and the room above us seemed to think moving around and dropping things at 4am was ok. So it was a bit hard to sleep with the noise of footfall above us. That said earplugs were provided!

Fantastic location, comfortable bed, powerful showers, clean, staff were great, loved the honesty bar.

Late check in at 1500. Managed to get 1400 after some ping-pong.

Comfy and large room but noisy from street in evening and morning (single glassed windows on historical grounds?). Third bed was too short (superior triple) for teenager, and between main bedroom and bathroom (not separated).

The only downside was the noise in the street at night. It seemed to be a very busy road late at night so it made difficult for us to fall asleep.

The deco of the room was modern, minimalist and so comfy. It had everything you could need and more (some handmade delicious biscuits to take with your tea/coffee were a bonus)

The stairs are quite steep and crooked so probably not great if you have mobility issues. It was fairly noisy at night time given the central location, there isn't great sound proofing on the windows.

The location is perfect for a short stay in Bath, you're just round the corner from the Roman Baths and a few doors down from Sally Lunn's famous Bath Bunn shop. The rooms are cosy and comfortable and the decor is very lovely.

Not the hotel's fault but a lot of bin collection noise etc. early on the Fri morning (we were staying in the annexe).

Brilliant location, just round the corner from the abbey and close to the theatre. Great to have a bathtub as well as separate shower.

There wasn’t anything I disliked about the property but the staircase is spiral and I had my elderly mother with me. She managed them but care was needed.

This was a beautiful, quirky property right in the centre of the city within walking distance of everywhere. It was immaculate with a very good selection of beverages and home made biscuits. The facilities were very good.
