The hosts were very friendly - we made a mistake on the dates of our booking and got in contact with them and they were more than happy to help us out in a timely manner. The welcome basket was a very nice touch which we greatly appreciated and the views from the hut were amazing

The only thing worth noting was that the cabin gets very warm in hot weather. If the weather is going to be above mid 20s (c) then I would recommend packing a fan which would have made sleeping much for comfortable.

Well situated property for exploring north wales and Snowdonia National park. The host provided a number of thoughtful touches such as dressing gowns, welcome drinks, wood for the fire and marshmallows for toasting. We had such a lovely time and the cabin provided just the cozy romantic get away that we needed to retreat back too after a days hiking and exploring. The pizza oven and hot tub were easy to use and even more enjoyable after a day of mountain climbing. We would love to stay again and would recommend to any couple looking for a north wales retreat.

Such a beautiful place. Had the best time here, did not want to leave. Spent the entire first day of our trip just relaxing at the hut and all the amenities made it 10x better the pizza oven and the hot tub and just the view was so peaceful. Inside the hut is also very clean and cosy I loved it. Could not have had a better host was so helpful and kind.

This hut is absolute perfection! Hot tub, pizza oven and views! It is incredible. Secluded. Nothing has been missed, every detail has been covered. We will be returning next year for sure with our son! The hosts made it extra special!

This was absolutely stunning, The facilities were amazing. The hot tub was so nice with stunning views. We even had cows in the field they were so adorable. The location was perfect for us. The shephards hut was very cosy and we had amazing nights sleep there. The host Gavin was checking in on us to see if we needed top up of fire wood. I will definitely be returning to the shephards hut.

What a beautiful place to stay in Wales! We loved our stay and you can tell a lot of effort goes into the experience from the hosts, who genuinely want you to have a brilliant time. The hut was pristine, with hot water and firewood provided to use the hot tub, fire pit, pizza oven etc. It's about 200m behind a house but facing the other way so you do get real privacy and the views are phenomenal. We even woke up with cows right next to the plot one morning! We won't forget that one in a while.

I would really be nit picking if I had to find something I didn't like in all honesty

Host Gavin was super friendly, was concerned about privacy being essentially in someone garden but aside from greeting us at the gate and responding to our text, we didn't see he him so loads of privacy. The hut had everything we needed, super cosy and it got really warm with the burner, even in the winter! Views were fantastic, water pressure and Internet given we were in a hut were superb. Marshmallow, Welsh cakes and the hot tub warmed up on arrival were all the extra touches that made this a fab stay with an excellent host

We loved everything about elephant view shepherds hut, the view, the facilities were amazing, the host couldn't have done anymore to help us, we booked to revisit whilst we were there as we fell in love with the place, I cant recommend highly enough.

This was our 2nd stay here and yet again we cannot fault a single thing. This place is an absolute gem and one we would recommend very highly. The Shepherds Hut itself is set in it's own private spot where you have uninterrupted views of the countryside and Elephant Mountain in the distance, it's simply stunning! It is absolutely immaculately clean with nothing out of place - it is literally like stepping into a magazine picture and at the same time it is so warm and welcoming too. The little welcome basket is great and the fresh milk is wonderful. The hot tub is just the icing on the cake offering the best relaxation and the views are just idyllic. I could honestly talk about this place for ages it is that good! It is hands down one of the best places that we have stayed in for so many reasons. Gav, the owner is lovely and nothing is too much trouble at all. He goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is perfect. We loved our 2nd stay so much that we are already looking to book again for next year too. Can't wait to come back to this perfect little gem.

Excellent location to explore the area. All the home comforts you could wish for and such detail to finishing touches. We were celebrating a special birthday and Gavin had put up banners/card and a bottle of bubbly for our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble and he regularly checked in to see if we needed anything.
