Very quiet location, easy 15 minutes walk to the quay ( for early morning boat to Lundy) Owner very helpful, allowed me to park my car outside while away for some days on Lundy and offered the option of a takeaway breakfast if my boat left very early . Cooked breakfast was excellent.

Location was a little way from the centre of Bideford. Some vegan spread, soya/oat milk or sausages might have been nice but I didn't give any warning I was vegan and suspect most visitors will be happy with the traditional breakfast.

A tasty home-made vegan breakfast. Friendly and helpful proprietor, comfy bed and good facilities in the room. I liked the use of tap water rather than bottled and the lack of single-use plastic throughout.

    I don’t have any negatives

Annette was a great host and made me feel very welcome. The room was very cosy, clean and comfortable. There was a really good shower. The area was close enough to walk into the town. I slept very well as the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a light breakfast but was plenty there . Bacon eggs toast and cereal if wanted. Orange and tea was also available.

    Decor a little dated.

As a vegan I was able to choose what I wanted for breakfast on the basis that the proprietor could buy ingredients such as plant milk or vegan butter if required. I was also able to store my bike safely. The B&B is very close to the Tarka Trail which is why I chose it.

The room didn't really have much va-va-voom. But it was a value break, not a stay in a boutique hotel.

Excellent host - communicative beforehand and attentive during my stay.

Small tv. I like to watch tv in bed and have bad eye sight. That was hard to do. But no real problem. Just a small nitpick.

Lovely host. Nice location. Very quiet. I would recommend.
