The bathroom was very basic and could benefit from refurbishment but for the price was reasonable.

Bedroom was comfortable and reasonably furnished for the price of the stay. Comfortable bed and the room was clean.

It's hard to find the place the sat nav just keeps taking you around and around. When we arrived my misses was dying for the toilet so decided to use the one inside reception area while I was checking in, the redhead girl was polite and said I'll show you to your room but shall we wait for the person your with. The blonde girl behind the bar said to her who you waiting for to her, so she told her and she was like oh there's a toilet in room 5 but in weird way. I said to her what's the problem? She was like nothing it's just me being confused. The heater in the bathroom was constantly on high I kept turn it down but nothing happened, lucky it was the heater in the bathroom and not the bedroom. Next morning went to take a shower no signs to say it's extremely hot water or anything, adjusted but still very very hot water. I had to abandon the shower mid showering before I got burnt. Puting my stuff away in the car, one staff member greeting me, behind her the blonde girl didn't bother just gave me weird look.

One only thing I can say is the room itself was very nice.

Shower didn’t work properly so no cold water to it and hot water too hot to take a shower. No plug for the wash basin so had to improvise to get a shave or a wash .Reception not manned until noon so could not do anything about the problem

I don’t like to complain about things in life so I find this difficult to write, however I don’t think it was good value. There was a funny smell in the room, the shower was so powerful it nearly took the skin off me! It reminded me of my dorm at boarding school. £50 a night is where I would price the room. Sorry guys. Chap on reception was really friendly and helpful a really nice guy.

Bed was squeaky (could probably just use some tightening of the fixings); the mattress was quite cheap / basic / old / old-fashioned box sprung and not an “aaah” type of mattress which I noticed as soon as I sat on it. The towel rail in the bathroom was on full heat and in small room on a very hot summer day I would have liked to have switched off. Unstaffed after 8.00pm. No option to purchase breakfast. Unable to contact direct through the phone / automated switchboard system on the number for existing bookings or through Booking.com messaging. Only managed to get to speak to someone by pressing on the number for “corporate” bookings. Bit of a pong from the drains when flushing loo / running tap in bathroom sink. No table to work with laptop.

Really lovely location in the village and gardens. Nice old converted buildings offering a single room at a good price. Spoke to a friendly and helpful guy when I managed to get through about being late to check in. Good value for money.

There was no warm water in the bathroom, however I did not raise that with a member of staff, which is why it is not too much of a concern. i am sure that had I asked for help, they would have helped us, so I am not complaining about that.

The place was really nice in terms of comfort, location and quietness. Staff was really friendly and the price per night is great, cosidering we booked the place last minute.

after checking in I realised that there was no hot water, I went to reception and told the man . the man said he would get that sorted, after returning that evening I checked and the water was on , in the morning ready to have a shower and the water was cold again 🥵

whilst going to room, people drinking cans of lager outside their room. they were in/out of their rooms all night including 3am and then sitting outside again at 7am. this can make people feel uncomfortable. needs a restaurant too.

they have a no smoking policy in the rooms. my room had clearly been smoked in recently, it smelt so bad of cigarettes that I’ll have to wash all my clothing

Shower was very small and shower pole was right above the head so your hair gets wet no matter what. Walls are very thin and you can hear people at other rooms.

Close to city (15 min by car), place was clean, good size tv, big room and bed. Check in/out was easy.

Spacious rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Real value for money. Travelling to Norwich for contract work and always stay here for weeks. Not had any issue with cleanliness. Staff are friendly and supportive. And always helpful with late check-in process.

Heating had packed up in one of the rooms, got given a small electric heater from reception, that worked until they wanted to sleep, had to turn it off because it was so noisy. I think they should have been offered a different room. The pillows are useless, way to thin... The bed was comfy :) Went in to the bar for a beer, how boring, no pool table, dart board, no music just a little tv on very quietly. Think it could have been better for £70 a room.
