All was amazing.

Property is in a stunning location. It was so quiet and peaceful. Kirsty was so welcoming, gave us alot of really useful information about the local area such as walks and local attractions. Our room was really spacious and the view was stunning from the window. Breakfast was also amazing and both the checking in and out experiences were second to none. We will definitely be back in the very near future with kids in tow.

Kirsty, the owner was above and beyond. Fabulous warm welcome, very chatty even made us a lovely cup of tea and a super slice of cake! we had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend it.

Nothing - it was all really good.

The location of Elmfield House is rural however there are restaurant options about 10 minutes away. If you stay on a Saturday night we suggest you book for dinner. Elmfield House is comfortable and quiet. The bed is comfy and the wifi good enough to stream by. Kirsten is a very helpful hostess, she suggested places to eat and also routes to follow when we left so we could discover all we wanted to on the next leg of our journey. Kirsten provided us with a lovely afternoon tea on arrival and a great breakfast. She also went above and beyond giving us some traditional fruit cake and cheese for our journey.

Lovely quiet, relaxed rural location, but close to local amenities that Kirsty kindly pointed out. Very comfy bed. Very friendly host, Kirsty keen to help me make the most out of my visit. Excellent breakfast - fresh fruit salad and then full English, along with Kirsty's beautiful homemade Apple & Blackcurrant Jam that I was able to take home, thank you, Kirsty for a lovely overnight stay, will return

Breakfast was excellent and the general use refrigerator in the hall outside the bedrooms helped with chilled water and fresh milk during a particularly hot spell of weather. Great view from bedroom window. Bonus was the availability of skeins of wool and other items that had been produced and dyed from their own herd of sheep.

Tranquil location , welcome, facilities. Although staying as a solo traveller, my friend that lives locally was also offered tea and cake. Room fantastic size, with fridge available on landing. Great to have a bath available rather than just a shower. Will be booking to stay again.

Wonderful part of North Yorkshire. The room was lovely. Kirsty looked after us very well. The room was gorgeous, it's called The Field. Breakfast was delicious.
