The bed was so uncomfortable had springs sticking in you was a horrible nights sleep turned over springs in your back and the headboard banged off the wall In desperate need of a new bed room 104 Breakfast was ok except for poached eggs asked for them soft but were rock hard.

On arrival nice reception lady advised someone had already checked in using our surname? She ran up the stairs and moved people out of our room we had booked. Disappointed 1. Lied to as we checked the guest list whilst she was upstairs and there was no one else with same surname. 2.Everytime we check in we have to show proof of id (which is good)even though we stay here once/twice a month. Noisy people coming back in after midnight slamming doors. Breakfast not earlier enough when you have a fair way to travel and staff were late arriving this morning. Again in-sufficient one four slice toaster to cater for everyone. Creates a queue everytime.

The shower was faulty and kept turning on during the night with the handle flying off randomly. There was tabbacco in my draw when I arrived and the radiator didn't work. This building is still under improvement so although they offered the bar and room service it isn't up and running yet but I still had a lovely experience there.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were lovely.

Receptionest was not very happy or perlight Receptionest handed me the keys she did not tell us where to go When we entered the room we could not find the tea thing eventually found them in the wardrobe there was a missing cup my husband went down stairs to tell the receptionest she said to my husband are you sure as he if he was telling lies

I appreciate that WiFi is available in the common areas, however, in this day and age, I feel it should reach all rooms as well.

Great location right by the ocean, and a satisfying breakfast spread each morning. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately I am quite sensitive when it comes to sleep so didn’t find the mattress very comfortable- plus the room was bright once the sun came up as curtains very thin!

Outside entrance to hotel creates a poor impression as grass hanging out of guttering on the canopy and pvc roof panels need cleaning. The rooms are clean and more than acceptable but the stairways have old threadbare carpet and the walls haven't been decorated. No wi fi in the rooms was disappointing (wi fi available in the downstairs lounge). The lift was out of order, an obvious problem for guests with mobility issues.

Continental style breakfast was more than enough for us. Room was clean and spacious with sea view (as requested). Comfortable king size bed.

Local parking is very hit and miss.

Very tired hotel, but the room was very clean. Think it is under new management, very keen, extremely nice and polite, who seem to want make the place better. Good luck to the. Just needed a place to lay my head after days drinking with friends and I would stay there again

The wait for breakfast and no list as i was on the top floor.

The room was ok. Low ceilings in places. The breakfast was good but had to wait as there were people who did not look like they were staying in the hotel getting preferential treatment.

The whole hotel was tired and needed a lot of work… Reception staff were average and actually not that friendly… Bedrooms were adequate for a place to put your head at night but no comfort…felt more like an office space No extract in the bathroom Windows filthy….carpet stained… Furniture in room was mismatched and old and could do with throwing in the tip! Breakfast wasn’t ready for the time stated and when it was it was quite chaotic…guests unsure as to whether to go up and help themselves or order at the table Selection of breakfast very poor…toaster took ages! Yoghurts were supermarket basics Tea was cold when delivered to our table. Owners children ran riot around the hotel!!

The room was not well furnished. The curtains did not actually cover the window. It was incredibly noisy. The shower didn't work properly.

Have two beds in the room which were singles pushed together just wanted a double and the bathroom shower leaked all over the floor which made it wet all day unless you dried it with a towel
