We stayed for one night, so all we needed was a comfy bed and warm shower. The shower was cold! Looking at other reviews it seems like this is not a one-off and something that could be addressed.

Property is well located in the centre of Sheffield and host was amenable to us dropping off our bags early. It was very clean and modern.

The electric radiator didn’t work so it was cold. The hot water tap in the kitchen is too hot and dangerous. Communication with the host was poor. My messages were never responded to and I had to do all the chasing.

Lovely apartment, near the city centre. Quite most of the time apart from the fan outside the building. The room was lovely, a few things let it down from getting top marks. The bathroom door was broken with a sign on stating do not shut as broken. Just what everyone wants to hear when away for the weekend with their wife. The bed was a small double,a bit too small for 2people. The room was big enough for a king size if not super king so not sure why that bed was chosen. The only other thing I would suggest is some coat hooks to hang coats up out of the way. Not enough room or hangers in the wardrobe to put them in there.

There were no spoons provided except teaspoons. This could be easily remedied and regular sized spoons would be better for eating cereal. I would also have appreciated a coffee machine or cafetiere. There was however a kettle so we could make instant coffee. Also I had not realised that the apartment was in the basement so had little light, though this may have been something I just missed.

The apartment is centrally located and quiet. The bed is very comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. The kitchen facilities (behind the wardrobe doors) were great for making a cup of tea and a snack. There was a hairdryer provided and an iron and ironing board which was useful as we were going to a wedding. The decor of the apartment is very stylish.

The room was very cold, we found the electric heater in the wall eventually but it was coming off the wall, a leaflet to explain the use of this would have been good. Getting into the property was very difficult, it is not clear what building it is and the phone number rings and rings, I eventually got through to someone who sent me a text with all check in details but it took 30mins from arrival to work out where I needed to be!

The room was lovely, clean and good price for the quality.

Shower was difficult to use, I ended up having a cold one!! Bed wasn't huge, but big enough for 2. It wasn't easy to find. Better signage outside would have been helpful! Communication through the boking app was non existent, however once I contacted them on WhatsApp about recovering my deposit, they were very helpful.

I quite like having access to fresh air but the windows were high up and also lead onto the street so not very secure. I could cope with this for two or three nights plenty longer might be a challenge

The neighbour was clearly a very heavy smoker. Our room smelt of cigarettes & it was worse in the bathroom. The smell made me feel quite sick. Which is a shame as we cannot fault anything else.

The accommodation itself was lovely. All the necessities. Quirky, warm & comfortable. Lady welcoming on the phone prior to arrival. Close to centre & a great place to get our heads down after an evening at a local concert.

I think the previous occupant was a smoker, there was a definite aroma of cigarettes and as we are non-smokers this wasn’t ideal. Not the fault of the host of course.

Good location for an overnight stay when visiting the City Hall, great little self contained room.

I was there in January, so it was very cold, the radiator was working but wasn't super powerful - it wasn't too bad after the first night I know some rooms have underfloor heating, but the one I had didn't, so I think that'd make all the difference to the temperature

Location was ideal, it was super clean and easy to check in/out Owners sent a text on the day of check in with super clear instructions, and they were great throughout I had some issues with the hot water in my room, I told the owner via text and they went above and beyond to assist me. They came down and had a look that day, and sorted an alternative room for me to use the shower of. Very impressed with the level of service.

Hot water was quite weak, needed to time well to make a bath. Staying 10 days over Christmas and New Year while cleaners were off, however only one toilet roll and bin liner were provided, needed to purchase by myself. Spare blanket in wardrobe would have been helpful, requested one for landlady but didn't get back to me, needed to get one by myself again as the room was a bit cold and took time to warm up. Minor things to be improved for decor. You will need to access a webpage to get the code for door key box at the entrance.

Great location, just behind the cathedral but in quiet area. You can take a tram from/to the station. M&S and Sainsbury's right by. High ceiling, lovely bath, luxurious atmosphere. Good cooking tools, plates, glasses and cutlery. Good wifi for work. Deposit collection and key instruction were going to be on the arrival day, complained that it's not very kind to make us a call while we are carrying luggage and on the move, the landlady kindly arranged them for me on the day before my arrival.
