The location was amazing right across the tidal estuary from Alnmouth! I don't understand why there isn't a bird icon on the map!! Never seen more Curlews since my childhood and more Redshank than you could shake a stick at!!Over a hundred geese flying in formation every evening! Not just wading birds with Barn owl Buzzard and Kestrel and a range of smaller species from stonechat to meadow pipit!! Wonderful!!!

We were a bit cut off as didn’t have a car but made the most of the isolation and totally escaped from the world..

Location and view were amazing. Simone was such a wonderful host and even popped through to say hello. If you want a magical getaway with the most stunning scenery and beaches then definitely book this! Wonderful!

Excellent location 6feet from the estuary water. Fantastic walks from the caravan. Very comfortable bed and owner went above and beyond with welcome pack fantastic. Totally secluded and peaceful. Loved everything

Location, location, location! If you're after peace, tranquility & total relaxation, then this is the place for you. The views & atmosphere couldn't be bettered; you are right on the river. The wildlife is incredible & every night at 9:50pm on the dot (summer time) we were treated to a flypast by a Barn Owl - utterly amazing! The caravan is elderly, but it has everything you need & it kind of adds to the whole charm of the experience. And anyway, the price we paid was a bargain for this good a location. Our host, Simone was charming & very informative about the area. We will definitely be back - and soon!

Nothing it was perfect 😀

This place is a hidden gem. Secluded location for peace and quiet overlooking the birds in the estuary and an extra bonus being that there is a wonderful view looking over to Alnmouth. The location has the added bonus that you literally feel like you have the beach to yourself as hardly anyone uses it. It's fantastic for dogs. With the coastal path literally behind the caravan it's ideal for exploring too. The walks into Alnmouth and Warkworth are lovely along the coastal route. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The caravan was spotless and the welcome gift was a really lovely touch. Super host who was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back

No fault of the owners, but the coastal path which is overseen by another organisation was overgrown _ I've since been told it will be addressed. Can't think of any negative comments about Estuary View Caravans

Exactly as described _ situated right on the estuary looking towards Alnmouth. A short drive through fields, so very peaceful apart from birdsong, and the odd vocal cow. The north/south coastal path was right on my doorstep and took advantage of this with a walk along the beach to Warkworth (beach 10 mins away through a track through the fields) and back. Rain was forecast so did not linger in Warkworth Village, where there are plenty eateries, or visit the castle. Maybe next time

location of the caravan was very special , so peaceful and scenic . very clean and had everything you could possibly need , nice fluffy towels and quality bedding . the owner popped along for a visit which was nice , such a lovely person.

Nothing apart from having to go home at the end of our stay

This caravan is perfect for birdwatches as the waders appear in front of the van at low tide then diving ducks appear at high tide. It is like a bird hide with heating. For walkers you have direct access onto the coastal path. south to Amble, north to Craster and beyond.

Bedrooms are slightly cramped. 2nd loo wasn't needed and space could be used to make a larger 2nd double bedroom. Just a minor suggestion. Beds were lovely and comfortable.

Lovely caravan in a stunning location. Everything you could need in the van and lovely and clean. The personal gifts on arrival were a lovely touch.

It wasn’t that we didn’t like anything. Simone was honest re old caravan but we do think the bathroom needs attention…..because of the age and use ….it did smell a bit. However, we do not want this to be a negative but just something to look at. We absolutely loved the location and had a fabulous time . Simone was just the perfect owner. We loved it and would definitely return.

Location fantastic Owner very helpful and honest. Caravan was old but Simone explained this. It was very cosy. Provided little extras which makes a difference.

The caravan is clean an and comfortable. We had an issue with the gas boiler but Simone attended immediately and resolved it. If I was to be picky the toilet location was a bit snug for us and there was a bit of a smell at times which I think you know about because there were air fresheners placed thereabouts. But did I mention the location is amazing

The location is just amazing. We parked the car on arriving and it didn't move for the duration of the stay. We walked into Alnmouth for a meal one evening. We walked to Boulmer for lunch one day and to Warkworth and Amble on another day all along the beach. However we could have just stopped on the decking watching the birds, the tide, the sunset. Did I mention the location is just amazing. Great few days thank you
