How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room was freezing on arrival, tried to make it blow hot air but still was blowing cold, window was open when we arrived. However once all turned off it warmed up in a few hours
Breakfast included was great, 24/7 staff on desk always happy to help. Nice modern room and clean

Breakfast was rubbish cooked and put under heat lamps. People turning up for breakfast no shower and still in pajamas. Socket for hair dryer at floor level

The bed was a little on the hard side for me and the air con unit blew directly onto the bed which made it a little tricky to maintain a comfortable temperature during the night.
Free parking was a high priority for me and it was easy to find a space close to the main entrance. The room was bigger than I expected and had all the amenities I needed for a two-night stay. It was clean and comfortable.

There was no eggs at 8am. Orange juice was an interesting colour and tasted awful. When I spoke to the lady to tell her about the orange juice she said they had quality checked it, so she didn't know it had happened again today. What does this even mean, she didn't seem to do anything about it or offer any solution. Everyone's tables filled with full glasses of orange juice not being drank. Also running out of eggs two hours pre end isn't acceptable Then choc muffins stale and cases pealing. How long had they been there. Breakfast was awful and such a let down and then made it so that we paid for it I guess as was included in price but didn't get it

Breakfast was quite basic eggs were cold, guests were handling all the croissants and then putting them back. The toaster was set alight. Not much choice of cereal. Marmite was in a jar instead of individual sachets so guests were putting their used knives into the jar, not hygenic for next guests use.

Room phone wasn't working. It was a bit chilly and the heater/aircon unit took a really long time to have any effect and it was minimal. Bathroom ceiling above shower needed some attention.
Staff were excellent. Polite and informative. Comfy beds, hot shower. Quiet hotel. What I expected for a 3 star hotel room wise but the staff behaved way above that. Allergens booklets readily available.

The car park is a little small so you might have a bit of a walk if you're staying during a busy period.
We only stayed here for one night to see friends, but the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 busy, but that did mean fast turnover on food which meant it was hot and fresh. Worth it for a quick stopover.

Bed mattress was probably a bit too firm for us.
Breakfast was good. Check-in and check-out quick and efficient. Staff friendly. Parking very convenient. Room was very good but bed a little on the too firm side.

No mini fridge to keep kids snacks/drinks cool. Air conditioning unit was so loud I woke up every hour or so.

The mattress was very hard making it uncomfortable. The shower pressure was really bad and as we were ground floor, heard a lot of noise in the morning.
Very good location to our needs. Great parking and free too! Harvester right next to it for food. AC is decent too
