Nothing not to like.

Great location as we were visiting the JCB golf championship. Excellent room with our own small terrace with table and chairs. Room was spotless great to have a fridge with water, juice and fresh milk. Host was a lovely man who cooked an excellent breakfast. Loved the little rescue 🐕 dog.

We had no issues with our stay. Everything was attended to as we would have hoped. No complaints.

We did not dislike anything. Hopefully being helpful here but my sat nav got me to top of street. Where next ? A sign at top of street would be useful !

Location was excellent geographically for our visit to Alton Towers. Ten minutes up the road, what’s not to like !

We loved the peaceful location which was convenient for getting to Alton Towers in the morning, the bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable, fruit juice and water provided in the fridge along with tea/coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in the room, also a fan. The hosts were a lovely couple and made us a delicious cooked breakfast which set us up nicely for our day at Alton Towers. We also liked petting the wee dog. I can highly recommend this b&b.

The only thing I would say and this is my personal preference so not everyone would agree. The bed was too hard for me as I suffer with my back, but my daughter slept like a log.

Beautiful location with many sheep right outside our bedroom. Very friendly hosts. Thank you John for being very welcoming and giving us a great shortcut to Alton towers. Breakfast was lovely and the kids really enjoyed the pancakes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Beds were comfortable but small. 2nd day was a bit strange having breakfast with a total stranger on our table. Made it a bit uncomfortable.

Being the country was lovely. Clean and tidy, with everything we needed. Breakfast was great. Host was good to. Plenty of information given.

Great location: close to Alton Towers and Peak District so good range for all members of family. The family room was excellent= comfy beds, wee kitchen etc. Breakfast included and brought to us!

There was nothing negative about our visit. The sheep woke us up in the morning but when you are in the country next to a field it’s to be expected.

Breakfast was superb with the option of pancakes for the children.

Nothing, everything was great

We loved our stay here. The location was perfect for us as we went for a hike at Dovedale which is around a 20 minute drive. John was very welcoming but left us to our own devices which was great. We particularly loved that there were pets there. It felt very cozy and like a home away from home. I have never had a more comfortable sleep - the bed was like a cloud. We then went to Alton towers the next day which is only 10 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again, we had the best time. Thank you

Such a lovely stay, we didn't arrive until late on, which was dissapointrd because we would of loved a few extra hours to enjoy this little stay. An absolute delight of a host, such a lovely man, and served us a lovely breakfast on the privacy of out little cabin. I would recommend it for a short stay absolutely without hesitation! Gorgeous little bnb. Added extras to make stay super comfortable like fridge, teas, water. Breakfast was delicious and host John was a delight. 5 minutes from Alton and you can pop to a local restaurant or get delivery to your room x much better than staying in alton towers Hotel.

I don’t have a bad word to say about this property.

A beautiful countryside location yet close to Alton Towers, Cheadle, and Uttoxeter. We had a very well appointed twin bed room with an adjoining private bathroom, with a kettle and fresh stocked fridge including bottled fresh milk, fruit juices and bottled water, and even an exceptionally quiet fan to help with the warm temperatures. Warm, friendly and very helpful hosts, and the exceptionally good quality cooked breakfast made it an altogether remarkable stay.
