The hotel was fine, we parked in the Asda car park as described and paid at the hotel - 2 weeks later we got a car park fine for non payment 😳 had to mess around ringing the hotel to try to rectify.

I have family in Stevenage and it is very convenient for Railway Station

The room was cold, the pillows and duvets were too thin. There could be extra pillows or a blanket in the room because every guest like different temperatures

I asked young lad at reception about restaurants and pubs nearby and he was very helpful. When I returned to reception after checking in he had gone to the trouble of printing off a few menus for different restaurants for me.

Not ideal if you can't walk from the car park. Hotel had a limited menu in the evening and not a lot of options in the immediate vicinity. Would stay again for a night or two.

Convenient location near the station and major roads. Parking was easy at the asda opposite. Good value for money. Lots of choice for breakfast. Staff were polite and efficient.

Alot of maintenance issues in the room ( door lock broken, hole in the sink , noisy sounds from the bed lamp settled eventually

The car park being across the main road in ASDA which was tough to get over from during the rainstorm.

Price was great and served us well for our wedding nearby. Staff were friendly and helped us with an early check in!

BREAKFAST! For a B&B there was no pastries, coffee hot food or juice. Four of us went elsewhere for breakfast! Staff although very friendly were not very knowledgeable as we had to appeal a parking ticket when we were advised we were parked correctly.

Think showers should have mat's as they are very slippery & if your like myself balance issues could cause a nasty FALL Also a toilet brush should be provided as don't like leaving a dirty toilet for the cleaner's

Decided to eat in at the hotel after a long visit in London after reception provided a menu to what he said was a new menu. When I placed the order of chicken wings and some salad along with onion wings to what is a very limited menu, I was told sorry they only had pizzas! This was very over priced and was not nice at all. We were nit impressed at all with this bearing in mind reception should have stated this at the outset.

Double bed mattress was sinking in the middle. Sofa bed edge was metal made and scissors frame was exposed and spiked up, yet the mattress was too small unable to cover it. It could be dangerous for toddler who rolls over both edge and might potentially jab into bones/eyes. Breakfast was limited choice. Please can you try the scrambled eggs, it has a very grainy texture and off taste. Maybe it was being made and delivered to hotel which caught some metal taste. A suggestion, maybe some boiled eggs if that would be easier to handle? Also another tips to save cleaning/washing too many plates (save water and help environment greener) , maybe only provide one plate per person on the table? I was shocked to see a family of 3 had 8 plates on the table.

Location within 5 mins walk to Stevenage train station and long stay car park at ASDA with extra charged. Room was cleaned nicely and staff were served attentively, kudos to Valentino, front desk James, Ewen and Tom despite a little hiccup for asking to have a higher floor with view and acknowledged by Keeley before arrival but being let down. Having said that, James and Ewen were tried their best to help us. Thank you. Another thank you give to 29th Dec morning breakfast waitress, she helped to fill up the chocolate powder in machine.
