Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomI would have had difficulty getting to the toilet if I were of bigger build; & (to be frank) it is so tight a space that it is very difficult indeed to stand whilst using toilet paper! The overhead shower faucet was fixed so that it pointed to one side, and there was no way to raise the hand-held faucet above chest height - showering took much longer than it ought to have.

New ZealandThe pin pad doors were abit confusing and we had trouble getting into the building and our room. We were pretty tired upon arrival. The floor was very creaky, the bedside lamps didnt work and the shower was difficult to use. You could not use the shower for more than 3 minutes as the sink didnt drain fast enough and you had to let it drain before turning it on again. You could only use the handheld as the top faucet of the shower would sprinkle out of the shower making it a slippery dangerous mess when you got out. If you wanted to make a cup of tea you have to go out of the room, down the steep flight of stairs and make it in a communal area. That is fine, but if you were making two cups of tea and some instant noodles - it was abit tricky and a strenous process!
Good Location and a very spacious room with a comfy bed. A good place to put your belongings and sleep.

We did not request for these prior to arriving. Maybe if we requested these COULD be provided. Not sure if these would be free of charge.

ItalyUnfortunately, there's no elevator in the hotel, so we had to carry our bags up a number of flights of very steep and narrow stairs to get to our room on the top floor (of three floors). Our room seemed clean enough, but the floor was very sticky! We could tell that it had been cleaned. However, most likely the concentration or ratio of detergent to water was much too high, and it left a sticky sort of film all over the floors. The bathroom was very small, but functional. The TV worked well, but it was in a strange position not facing the bed, and it was fixed to the wall so we couldn't turn it towards the bed.
The location is very good. It's in a quiet neighborhood close to the train station and just a short walk to the bus stop. We had a good night's sleep, and coffee was available in the kitchen downstairs any time.

United KingdomThe keyless entry was an issue. I did not receive the email with the access code. I rang the property three times and no one answered. We then went and rang the doorbell. We waited outside for 15 minutes running and no one came. In the end another guest let us in and eventually we found a member of staff who was very rude but gave us the code. Very poor customer service. Also the bathroom was tiny. Sitting on the toilet was very difficult due to closeness to the sink and the water pressure was quite bad.
Location was great. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.

United KingdomOn arriving at 4 o’clock I entered my room and it was a mess from the previous people! It was not cleaned nor ready, I had to then wait but I think this meant the cleaning and changing of bed was very rushed. I did get my parking refunded for this inconvenience but my worry would be this happening again when it would be too late to be rectified. I find it hard to believe that having the same code for the front door and my room doesn’t mean everyone’s codes are the same, else how can the front door take so many different codes? I felt unsafe with this as there was no chain for me to lock my door 🚪 nice I was inside, I pushed the foot stool up against the door but I feel a simple chain would be very useful! The people next door to me were very load and several times made me jump with load bangs! The shower was also blocked ao needs to be looked at as was close to flooded my (I had to sleep stopping and starting my shower the water to make sure it didn’t). It had everything I needed, nice towels and products. I was so pleased and greatful for the aircon! My hairdryer didn’t work so also needs looking at but I wasn’t expecting there to be one at all anyway. The shared area and garden was a bonus. Over all a few easily resolved issues. I hope this is helpful.

Convenient location for the train station and leisure complex. Parked overnight at the leisure complex for £14.

United StatesNot that I didn't like the bathroom. It was quite nice overall. The toilet however was very close to the wall which made it difficult and awkward to use at times. Minor detail though...for me at least.
If you need to be close to the train station, then this is a great spot. It is also about a 15min walk to Cambridge city center. The room was much bigger than what I was expecting and included air conditioning. Just be aware that the air con is a mobile unit and can be quite loud. Wasn't a big deal for me though.

NetherlandsExtremely small bathroom for what you pay for, the bed was also super small for 2 persons. When we arrived at the hotel we wanted to drop off our bags, because we were 1,5 hours earlier than check-in time, but the lady said we couldn’t go on the room yet, and we can leave our bags in the kitchen but it was our own problem if someone would steal it. The lockers were full they said, one was available but not big enough for all of our stuff. Then after some waiting (because we didn’t wanna leave our bags like that in the hotel…) another lady came and we asked here the same question. Then we could bring it to the room anyway. Overall, chaotic communication, not what we expected in a hotel. But besides that, they were nice.
The room was cute and cosy. We also loved the location, very close to the station.
