Annie & Bob were fantastic hosts. The suite is very spacious, the photos do not do it justice. It's clean and tidy. The bed was also very comfortable. The bungalow is well kitted for self catering but we only stayed for one night so we did not cook. They also provided tea, coffee, milk, juice and biscuits. Fernbank is in a lovely quiet location and not too far from the city centre. We would definitely love to stay again.

The only thing I would say isnt good are the carpets as they have old stains from previous guests. Getting laminate with some nice rugs or brand new carpets through out would make this place a definite 10/10

The calm and quiet atmosphere nice break away to switch off from everything. The bed is really big and super comfy so if you looking for a comfy sleep as well this is the place.

Lovely home from home. Great communication and so friendly. We stayed for a couple of days as we were visiting the sports institute which is just a quick 15 mins drive.

The apartment was just the perfect size for the two of us and in a truly stunning location. The house was clean and very well stocked with the necessary amenities for an overnight stay. The hosts were absolutely lovely and I do hope we didn't disturb during our late return! The garden is absolutely gorgeous and I wished I could have stayed longer and brought the dog who would have loved to explore

Property would benefit from an outside light - we stayed in November so was dark quite early. We ran out of toilet roll but otherwise the property had everything we needed. 80s style might not be to everyone's taste.

Very comfortable accomodation which would make an ideal base for walking in the woods. Rural yet not far to the motorway. Very clean and would stay here again. Welcome cookies and milk were indeed most welcome. We slept well.

Excellent location and easy to find. Had all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. Annie was lovely and welcomed us to the property on noticing we had arrived. Lovely large rooms and plenty of parking.

Our son was starting university so came to stay the night before. This was the perfect place to stay and will diffently be booking for when we have to return to pick him up, if not before :)

Nothing, only things that would make it better would be a seating area in the garden to enjoy the outdoor space.

The property was extremely clean and tidy, everything you could want was on hand and the owners made us feel very welcome. Bob came to introduce himself and made us feel very welcome. I have a feeling nothing would have been too much trouble! The house is located in an excellent location, close to Sheffield but far enough to feel like you’re in the countryside. Some excellent walks and pubs on the doorstep!

We did miss the entrance from the road a few times. But this was absolutely no problem, just added to the fun.

The property was perfect for our stay visiting family. Annie and Bob were the perfect hosts, they were easily contactable when we needed anything but also left us to enjoy our holiday. The garden is great for kids and dogs to run around and play, our 11 month had a wonderful time.

Our hosts were extremely friendly people who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. I could not find any fault with Fernbank Suite and could not recommend it enough.
