Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe location wasn't great and the view wasn't good. With a name like The ferry house I expected to see water or port out of the window. The photos on booking.com showed beach and sea views but there were none. The area was very run down and nothing local to see or visit during the evening. Thank goodness for Netflix.
The house was beautiful and spacious. It had everything you would need for a few nights stay. Having Netflix and Amazon fire stick was a god send. Milk, tea, coffee and sugar on arrival was great for a cuppa when we had had a long journey. The shower worked well and the towels were nice and fluffy. Car parking right adjacent to the house was good and free. The heating was good and warmed up quickly. A one stop shop over the road for essential things.

United KingdomThe ground floor bedrooms have the pavement at the side of Bush Street right outside the windows so passers-by and some late night revellers can be noisy, especially if the windows are open. The weather was warm during our stay so we had to keep windows open when we were in. Bush Street can be busy with cars and busses making it noisy, especially the odd person visiting the convenience store in their e.g. VW Golf R late evening! Early morning commuters will wake you up too. The larder fridge was fine but the lack of ice box (or freezer) means you have nowhere for you picnic ice packs. The property is lacking any 'welcome' information and general instructions e.g. where to empty bins or food waste.
Very convenient for all the things we wanted to do. Bright and airy with mainly neutral colours and no strong fragrances. Well equipped kitchen. TV good enough with spare HDMI input for our Roku streaming gadget! Good electric shower. Parking was no problem although we did mostly park on the street rather than in the small carpark as it was full (some vehicles hadn't moved for a long time).

United KingdomIt would have been useful to have a hook for hanging, say, a dressing gown in the small bedroom and the bathroom. Some simple instructions for the cooker would be good too. As the hosts requested removal of shoes a small stool/chair by the front door would be useful.
Location was good with adjacent car park and convenient for local corner shop. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well presented. It was good value for money.

United KingdomBigger bath towels would be good.
Pembroke Dock is a good base for exploring South Pembrokeshire. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and we both slept well. There's a small car park just beside the house and we were always able to get a space in it.

The Ferry House is exactly what pictures are showing: extremely clean, modern deco and at the same time very cosy and homely. I definitely recommend the place if someone is looking for a great place to stay in the Pembroke Dock or close by this area. The owners are very easy to reach out and what is most important very friendly as I was a pleasure to speak with Vicki, who us one of the owner’s. I would definitely would like to come back for a longer period and explore more of the beautiful landscape of that part of Wales.

AustraliaExternal to the property was 2 large bags of rubbish at the front door. The surrounding areas nearby had dumped furniture, rubbish,junk..etc. A lot of noise from passers by as the bedrooms are on the ground floor . The weather was very warm and with the windows closed it made the bedroom hot. No explanation sheet to show how the shower, sink worked or internet access password ...contact with the hosts explained this. I don't feel the property rates 9.1..
The inside of the property was clean. We were able to access the property early which we were very appreciative of. Kitchen was well equipped Hosts easy to contact

United KingdomIt got quite hot on occasions and it was not possible to leave windows open in the bedrooms as they're located on the ground floor. The location of the bedrooms also meant that you heard a lot of road noise.
Good location for exploring Pembrokeshire. Close to supermarkets. Well kitted out kitchen. Easy to park close by in the small car park.
