Small cooker was a bit tricky to get used to, but there was a microwave so managed perfectly well.

Lovely location, with River Wye just outside the window. Comfortable, well equipped cottage, lovely owners who gave us lots of info about the local area. Nice welcome touches. Perfect for a peaceful break with wildlife outside the door.

The shower wasn't the best, difficult to find the right temperature and not powerful enough. The bed was a bit too firm and the pillows too soft.

The location was great, quiet and peaceful. The garden overlooking the river, with wildlife almost within touching distance. Kitchen was well equipped with wine, milk, tea and coffee provided.

I chose not to drive and therefore relied on public transport and taxis, which on occasion prove to be unreliable and can restrict your travel plans.

This historic and picturesque location along with the accommodation offered seclusion but l did not feel isolated. As a solo traveller l felt secure and was acknowledged by family members as a welcome visitor. I truly enjoyed my stay, thank you 🙏🏿✌🏿

Nothing to report here. Even got sun and warm weather so what's not to like!!

Location. Location. Location. Don't think this cottage's placement could ever be beaten!! I was shattered each day after my kayak course and looked forward to my meal on the patio overlooking the river then after to just sit on the bench there and watch and hear the paddleboarders, birds, and the sound of the river. Bliss!! Convenient to Hay and Brecon and most other desirable destinations. Easy parking. Lynda was a fun and attentive host. Thank you for the wine too!! Comfy cottage and expect a daily check up by the neighbour's cat Nutmeg. Highly recommended.

The cooking facilities were a real problem. you could only use the small oven or the rings. There was no temperature on the rings, they were either on or off. The oven temperature was not accurate so things took much longer to cook. The height of the unit was so high that it made it difficult to safely use the rings.

The location was perfect. Constant hot water and the property had a bath. Comfortable large bed. Plenty kitchen equipment and the property was warm and cosy.

Everything was fine.

A beautiful location right by the river, very peaceful, yet close to amenities and surrounding area, there was a very good Garden Centre on the main road, which had a lovely restaurant and shop. The cottage was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The patio was a bonus, a lovely area to sit and rest and enjoy the scenery and wildlife. A good base to enjoy local walks, covering the Wye Valley and the Black Mountains.

Comfortable, clean, well equipped cottage in a lovely location next to the river. Good directions given to find property and Lynda was very knowledgable about the local area! The counter top oven/hob was an interesting device but great fun to work out and was able to produce good meals on it!

we didn’t find anything wrong with the cottage. the only thing that may give some people a problem was the cooker, not a traditional, but a countertop, we got on fine with it but could see it might be an adventure for some people. 😁

clean, tidy, warm, great location, owners very friendly but left us to it, unless we needed them. lovely to sit and watch the birds and watch the river flowing by.

The location on the banks of the river Wye was outstanding. We ate breakfast on the patio overlooking the river every day . Particularly enjoyed the bird life on the river bank and on the river itself.

Booking.com said I would receive an email from the property with instructions for arrival and I didn't but I called them and they let me know. Otherwise everything was amazing

Amazing location right by the river with a lovely terrace to sit. The cottage was so cosy the log burner was such a nice addition. The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook whatever we wanted
