    Zilch. It's all to like.

This is just a brilliant place to stay! Guest lounge, log burner, homemade cake and tea to greet you. Spent acouple of hours by the fire with the rain crashing on the windows, looking out over superb views. (Unfortunately got up just a bit late next morning to see the barn owl hunting over the grounds). Breakfast had to be the best I've had in any accommodation - noticeably high quality and locally sourced. Mix that all in with beautiful clean rooms and friendly hosts and you have a perfect stay.....

Staying at the Fig Tree was lovely from beginning to end, I was served with complimentary tea and home made cake in front of a warm log burner. Off road parking was appreciated,. wonderfully quiet during my stay and a first class breakfast. Definitely my first choice next time I'm working in Cornwall.

The b&b is lovely, surrounded by beautiful grounds. We saldy only had a flying visit this time but do plan on returning The owners were very accommodating as we arrived in quite late which we appreciated thanks very much

Can't think of anything that could have been better.

Stunning, quiet location not too far from the sea and the towns of Falmouth and Penryn. Very good for family visiting Penryn Campus students. Friendly and helpful hosts (unexpected and very welcome tea and cake on arrival), good breakfast choices, beautiful house with tastefully furnished rooms. High standard of accommodation for the reasonable price.

What a lovely find, nothing was to much trouble, delicious coffee and cake was offered on arrival. Stunning scenery, sat outside in the evening and saw an owl hunting for food. Comfortable bedroom with coffee & tea available and on the second day a homemade cake was left for us when we arrived back in the evening. Use of a fridge for drinks or food was handy, and relaxing lounge room for evening board/card games can be used. Breakfast was outstanding plenty of variety on offer. Hosts happy to offer advice on best places to eat and visit, Would definitely recommend

I have to say Fig Tree House is a real gem of a B&B. The house is simply beautiful, immaculately presented with classy décor and set with fine detail, and all set in a stunning country location. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive, without being over the top. Breakfast was amazing and kept us going for the whole day. The only downside was, we did not spend enough time there, the place is so good it deserves time to be savoured to be appreciated to the full. We only used it as a pitstop whilst traveling through for one night, but are already planning for when we can return...

Good communication before arrival. Great welcome. Comfortable room. As it was a sunny I had my breakfast outside. The breakfast was really well cooked and tasty. It was clear that they use good quality ingredients. This place is 10-15minutes from Falmouth and Helford and a real retreat from the crowds!

The roads are a bit narrow to get to the accommodation (if you have a wide car).

There was a wide choice at breakfast from fresh fruit to a full cooked Cornish. I was even offered a tea and cake on arrival. There was even fresh milk in the downstairs fridge!

Everything was fabulous and Sal looked after us really well. Lovely tea and flapjacks on arrival and the breakfast was superb. Another unexpected treat was seeing the local barn owl hunting from our bedroom window. Highly recommended and we would stay again!

Only that I had to leave

Our Sat Nav let us down finding the property but thankfully the lovely owner came a rescued us. So it didn’t happen a second time he dropped us down to the local pub and came and collected us. That was much appreciated. Didn’t really want to leave this beautiful property and the lovely owners.

Attention to detail - freshly baked cake and tea on arrival, cake also left in room for the afternoon. Small vase of fresh flowers in the room. Beautiful views and a great breakfast.
