Unfortunately the double bed had a slope on the l left and felt like you were falling off unless you moved more to the right.

The surroundings were beautiful so picturesque. Was center to everything we wanted.

Could have done with a little hoover but can't fault the place.

Staff were always present and very helpful when needed. The family barn had everything we needed. A Lot of local shops were only a few minutes up the road. A beautiful forest and parks which dogs really enjoyed and so did us Humans 😁.

We did have to request the small bed in the curtained room to be extended to a double as per the original request when we booked. It was too small for an adult when we arrived and for the first night. When the upstairs barn was occupied people moving around did disturb us a few times.

Very well placed to explore Glasgow, Helensburgh and,Loch Lomond areas. Peaceful spot and very good facilities. Generally very comfortable and staff very helpful when we needed them.

Booking information didn’t make it very clear that the second sleeping area is separated from the living area by a curtain and has a large patio door onto the main thoroughfare.

We could have done with a few more tea towels only had one .Simple instructions how to work fire laminated floor needs attention come up in a few places .Beds were too hard . They could do with set spaces for parking for the family barn when it was a busy day .

Check-in was easy; we went to the visitor centre and were shown to the Family Barn. The barn had everything we needed for our three-night stay, and the location in the middle of the estate was perfect. Being winter, it was dark early, and we could walk with our dogs through the woods (with a torch!) while looking at the stars, as there was no street light pollution. The barn was super cosy. and both my husband and I were able to finish some important work that we had to complete with excellent wi-fi and no disturbances. We will be visiting again, either when we need space to complete some work or take the dogs for a break where they can exercise. Great location.

No door on second bedroom was part of the lounge. Could have been partitioned off and a door put on. No privacy for adult guests just a curtain separating the room.

Barn was fine if no one was above you, when they wake you wake. Sounded like the lady had stilettos on, stomping around. Really shouldn't have anyone above, very noisy. Couple of light bulbs missing from Island lighting. Heating big issue, it gets very cold at night. It said in information book, if you put heating on you will be charged by the kW. I would suggest that you raise the price to accommodate this. The heating needs to be on. There was also heating of water under the sink, not sure if it could be done in a barn but combi boiler would be more effective if possible. Cafe needs fresh cooking,I'm sure if scones were cooked you would sell them.

Beautiful location, stunning views, gardens well kept, barn was comfortable had all essentials. Liked that it had a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The shower was pretty ineffective, not very hot and weak flow. Also, if you were shaving the tiny immersion heater for hot water emptied very quickly, leaving no hot water.

Location was great with wonderful walks beside the property. Was spacious and electric heaters kept the place warm. Fittings and kitchenware were all good. Lovely and dark at night!

Not being communicated to about parking space. Note left on car (on 3rd day) telling us not to park at the front of the accommodation. Mention to customers at check in perhaps?

Great location with lovely walks for you to explore. Everything was there for you within the accommodation that you could possibly need from an ice cube tray to extra cushions!!! Washing machine, coffee machine and every piece of crockery you can imagine. They have thought of everything!!!

This property was brilliant beautiful grounds the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Our dog loved it because the woods were a 1 minute walk. It was in a great location because we have family in the area would definitely stay again

Lack of proper noise isolation from flat above and every step taken above resonated heavily in the downstairs flat. A thick carpet or rugs upstairs should suffice to absorb the noise.
