A home from home. Very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty to do in Northumberland and the nice weather was a bonus for the time of the year. We would defo go back.

The cottage was amazing. Everything you could need. Bed was so comfortable. Easy check in, host kept in touch to check everything ok. Will definitely be back.

The only thing I missed was a mirror by the front door- just to check B4 leaving the house. otherwise perfect!

Great location. Really nice decor in the lounge, and all amenities in the kitchen. Nice welcome hamper and the parking dial was much appreciated.

Lovely cottage, set close to the beach and all town amenities. Well appointed. Great to use as a base to local attractions or stay local and enjoy Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.

The location and the cottage was clean and well serviced. Newbiggin is a little gem spent time in the rock pools watching hermit crabs ...fab

Evything was good

Very close to beach, there is cafes, pubs, pizza and chip shops near by. It was great having dolphins swimming by near the church evyday but I only managed to see them once. Lovely walking along the prom where people was always friendly.

There was nothing negative about our stay.

The property was in a great location for travelling around Northumberland and less than a minute walk to the beach. Plenty of shops within a walk or short drive away for supplies. Perfect size property for a family of 4, extremely clean and had everything to hand that you need.

Beautiful cottage with excellent facilities and nice welcome pack. Great location close to the beach and walking distance to cafes, restaurants and supermarket. Maritime Centre ( 5 minute walk) excellent for children with lovely community feel and great cafe.

We drove there in a blizzard but it didn't change our opinion. There is nothing we would change.

The location was perfect. Quiet, very close to sea. All amenities nearby...shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs. Some lovely walks. A good base to travel from when sightseeing. We felt very 'at home'. Extremely well kept property with all needs close to hand.

The cottage was very cosy and welcoming with everything we could possibly need. The location was perfect: close to the sea and local amenities, but tucked out of the way. The host was fantastic, with great communication before and during our stay when needed. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful location a stones throw to beach and facilities. The property was as shown on the excellent photos. Everything we needed was there. It was very comfortable with off road parking. The host was available at any time. We just loved the whole experience and hope to return.

The host had thought of absolutely everything, we travelled with our 7yr old and 9month old so having use of a travel cot and high chair was a great help! The location for the places we visited was perfect. The cottage is lovely and clean and with the beach literally on the door step!

Everything was lovely.

The cottage was spotless and the location was perfect for us. We actually met the owner, Lesley who was very nice. Lesleys brother- in law was round every day watering the lovely plant plots and sweeping up the courtyard.

The only thing I can think of was the delay in our journey as part of the A1 was closed BUT we were so happy to arrive and find such a lovely place waiting for us! The horrendous journey was instantly forgotten.

Beautiful cottage, kind and thoughtful host, great area of Northumberland. Have visited here for day trips and thought we would like to stay. So glad we did. Staying at Fisherman's Cottage has happily confirmed that we will return before long!
