Sofa and bed not the most comfortable. Small turning staircase won't suit everyone.

Nice quiet location, near town with private parking. Good kitchen facilities. Lovely bathroom.

Lovely cottage in a very quiet location, but very convenient for the city centre. We felt at home immediately and had a hugely relaxing stay. The hosts are brilliant to deal with.

Perhaps an extra comfy chair if 4 adults were staying. A small tray would have been useful to carry morning cups of tea up the steep narrow staircase !

Nothing it was all lovely.

Lovely cosy little cottage right by the river Dee - we loved it. Cottage was warm on arrival and very cosy. Bed was very comfortable and the area very quiet. The Cottage was clean and well equipped for our needs. The private car parking was a huge bonus and with only a short walk by the river into Chester City it was excellently situated for city centre shopping and adventuring around the city. We had a lovely time A big Thank you to our hosts.

very clean. perfect location just across the river from Chester. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Lovely fire. Comfy beds. Netflix! Car parking. Nice duvets. Great location. Near to Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks.

There was nothing really wrong with the property. It was a bit dark but that is the style of the property.

It was very good apart from the steep stairs, my wife and myself are both it the 70s bit awkward for us to get up and down but that’s just a small thing to get over

A really comfortable and clean house with everything we needed for a short stay in Chester. Easy access to city and parking were a bonus.

Sofa was uncomfortable Stairs were steep (a hand rail on both sides would be good) - would not recommend property for those with young children. The front step to the property was steep (both my son and I fell down it!)

The sofa was a bit uncomfortable and we were quite cold. There is a log fire but Ive never used one before so didnt want to risk doing something wrong so we just used blankets provided. There were towels hanging on the back of my bedroom door from previous occupant but not a problem.

Very cosy. Very comfy beds especially for someone like me who finds it hard sleeping in a different bed. It was a little outside the city so nice and quiet. Park nearby and a little wooded bit near the back. I had a bit of a problem with a light bulb but it was fixed promptly. There were a couple of games to play if wanted and the shower was amazing. Kitchen had everything I needed. Overall a great stay
