Staff were absolutely wonderful so kind, patient and helpful with anything we asked. Location is perfect and near anywhere you would to go. Booked space for drinks which was great and would recommend as the place is busy with locals and visitors.

An excellent wee tavern, right next to the waterfront of this lively community. The hotel was converted from old fisherman's cottages. It has a quirky feel and a traditional old style pub. The rooms are modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and we had a great breakfast. Would certainly book again if in that area and recommend.

Small leak in my bedroom window.

I had an upset tummy and the staff could not have been more helpful in proving a small plate of food to help, This is a friendly tavern with good food, pleasant rooms and kind, helpful staff.

The room next to me was very noisy at night time, as I was trying to sleep, but I looked for a way to comfort my sleep

The beds were comfortable and it was a very nice location

No real negatives, only a little niggle was not enough tea bags or milk for tea making in the room.

Location was perfect. Room very clean and was cleaned twice during our 3 day stay. Food was very good in the pub. Good selection of beers.

One price breakfast meant 'full cooked breakfast' cost the same as 'cup of tea and toast' Finding a park nearby was not easy!

The converted fisherman's cottages made a quaint and interesting hotel, and the staff were great.

Staff were amazing. The room was really comfortable and had everything supplied. The hotel is really quirky, being three little cottages combined into one. The restaurant was great - the fish and chips was first class! You can stroll along the sea to the Broughty Castle. I would highly recommend The Fisherman's Tavern to anyone going to Dundee as it's not far from the city.

Quality of the WiFi was poor

Excellent location and facilities, especially bath and decent size TV. Considering it was above a busy pub, noise wasn't too bad - the windows had to be closed to completely block it out Breakfast was reasonable
