Car parking wasn’t explained properly - wasn’t aware the £15 car parking payment only applied to the spaces with bollards until reading on another review, this could be explained better on the page

Some things wasn’t very clearly stated so on my email it said it would hold £50 on the card for any room damages when they actually hold that per night so ended up being £350 hold instead no issue just would have been good if that was worded better on the website

It was peaceful and clean, short walk to the beach and the staff were great!

Room was very warm, did have to use a fan mid April. Disappointed there wasn’t a view with the pool or hot tub or anywhere to lounge around the pool.

Fantastic views, lovely light spacious rooms with gorgeous toiletries. Amazing walks along the cliff tops, along the beach right on the doorstep.

No coat hooks in bedroom. A very minor thing but it would have been nice and there was room in a small lobby like area.

Amazing views from bedroom, bar and restaurant. Nice little pool and spa bit too. My wife is pregnant and the restaurant food wasn’t to her fancy, so we went elsewhere. But the breakfast was excellent.

Nothing not to like!

Great atmosphere and location. Clean and well presented, modern with great facilities! The lady who was front of house in the restaurant for breakfast was a lovely friendly and outgoing person, who noticeably brought guests spirits up.

The spa changing area could do with more regular cleaning as there was a lot of hair on the floor and the showers were not really of a high standard.

I don't think I can find any faults, maybe a big better car park would be good.

The room was spacious, comfortable and warm. Even got the special body wash, shampoo etc they sell downstairs Room service is available, we didn't use. Even got biscuits to go with your tea/coffee!! Amazing! The food in the restaurant was incredible, very tasty and served by amazing staff. Really friendly, helpful and made us feel so welcome. The bar area comfortable and welcoming very nice staff made us some delicious cocktails. Over all best hotel in Newquay have stayed so far. The spa facilities were incredible. Felt so relaxed afterwards. All very clean with everything you need.

The only thing I could nitpick is minor and they do state it clearly when you book. And that's to pay for the reserved parking spot, because they do fill up quickly and vans/surfers fill up the on street parking.

The breakfast, spa, area, views and the saff were great. Especially the breakfast team, nothing was too much trouble for the servers or any hotel staff in general.

The £50 holding fee taken on arrival. I appreciate that the majority of hotels do this but the amount was withdrawn from my account rather than being taken as a pending transaction.

Being given the opportunity to upgrade the room to a sea view on check in.

The food in the restaurant was totally devine... the service outstanding.. lovely staff and the suite with the hot tub was amazing.. beautiful view.

Only used pool area once. Thought changing area could have been better. Shower was too fussy with four water outlets and main head shower was not great. However this may have been a temporary glitch.

Staff are brilliant: helpful, friendly, and very welcoming. Hotel is very comfortable and clean. Has a great relaxed atmosphere.
