It would have been nice to have a biscuit with the tea and coffee things in the room. Other than this everything was perfect!

Very comfortable, clean and homely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and took my wet shoes to dry in the laundry room. The food in the restaurant was fantastic quality and on one of the days, it was only us eating in the restaurant and they still opened for us! Breakfast was excellent. I even got proper warm croissants which I love. The shower was fantastic too - really powerful and easy to control. There was plenty of onsite parking too.

Didn't like having to go home !

We were made so very welcome at Flambards and all our communication beforehand was dealt with very quickly and in such a friendly way that it really made us look forward to our stay. The rooms, as all the hotel, were spotless, fresh and comfortable and the whole atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We enjoyed a drink in the lounge before dinner and then thoroughly enjoyed a delicious Sear and Sizzle meal in the restaurant. The food presentation was beautiful and it tasted just as good as it looked. The Vegans were really well provided for as well as the meat eater and we all thoroughly enjoyed the sear and sizzle experience. Mac and Louis were such lovely hosts, making such a happy, relaxed atmosphere for us and in spite of us only being able to stay for one night they made us feel we were properly on holiday. Breakfast was fabulous too. We'd love to go back one day and it's so convenient for trips to other wonderful places like Cardigan and New Quay.

The access from the hotel onto the road was risky: a well-placed large mirror would be helpful

Nice quiet location, excellent dinner and breakfast, and hosts were very friendly and professional. They went out of their way to assist us with sorting out issues we had with arranging further accommodation bookings. Will highly recommend this establishment to friends and family and will return for a future stay if we are ever back in this part of Wales. Thank you Mac and family.

Stairs were a bit of a problem for my husband, no lift available.

Location near Cardigan for a wedding was just right. The hotel was clean and our room was comfortable with roomy en suite. Breakfast was excellent.

Was a bit more isolated than expected .A but surprised that the bar closed at 9.30 on Saturday evening.A. fridge in the room was offered , but it was the size of a shoe box so not much good really .

Had a lovely evening meal, brilliant bar staff.I left a jacket behind and they rang me to let me know and are sending it on to me .

It's not a criticism as such, but the place isn't really open during the day and closes down at 10pm at the latest. We would have liked to have sat and drank in the bar for longer but it wasn't possible, everything was locked up and shut down

Excellent location, very comfortable room. The bar area was really pleasant and relaxing. The "cook your own meat/fish on a hot rock" restaurant might not be to all tastes, but it has the advantage that you are in complete control of how your food is cooked. The quality of the steak we had was exceptional, tribute to a good relationship with a local butcher!
