Duvet was very hot, but I'm sure hosts would have sorted that if I'd mentioned it.

Central quiet location. Very attentive hosts. Very well equipped kitchen. Thoughtful welcome pack. Comfortable bed.

No car parking on site (but car park nearby); kitchen well-equipped, but a few more plates and cups would have meant less frequent washing up.

good location, comfortable and spacious flat, walker-friendly

    Nothing, it was perfect

Charming apartment, with so much character and tastefully renovated. Spotlessly clean and cosy, we absolutely loved staying at no 22.

All of it! A beautiful home in the perfect location. Every small detail has been thought of. A welcome basket so we could have a cup of tea and a biscuit after a long drive was very welcome. Everything you need to cook your own meals (saves a few pennies as a family of 4) The location was amazing. You could pop back for a cup of tea and take back all your purchases! The upstairs bedroom was great for the children (6 and 11). They slept very well and said the beds were comfy. Bathrooms were beautiful and had soaps and toiletries, hair dryer....just everything you could need! The car park was super close and very reasonably priced, we just bought 4 days parking in one go, so we didn't have to worry about getting up and paying for parking by 8am. Amazing selection of shops and cafes within walking distance. We also walked a long the river and saw the wooden sculpture trail. We will definitely be back, thank you 😊 *My husband and I ended up taking the mattress out of the sofa bed and putting it on the floor as that was more comfy, but I've NEVER found a sofa bed that was comfy!

Nothing. If you are bringing a little one with a pram, just bear in mind there are steps to go up into the house. The downstairs lobby area is plenty big enough to accommodate it though.

The house is in the perfect location for exploring the area. The house is so clean and has everything you need for your stay. Ali even left a welcome basket with Easter eggs, so thoughtful. We had plenty of room for our son’s travel cot in the bedroom. We loved staying in this quirky property and hopefully we will be back at some point.

The location was perfect, everything was right on our doorstep and watching the world go by whilst reading a book was lovely and relaxing. The cottage had everything we needed and more. There was a welcome basket waiting for us which was a nice touch. The kitchen was fully equipped so we could easily cater for ourselves. The lounge and dining room were comfy and full of books and games. The cottage had so much character, with original features preserved and beautiful decor. We felt at home as soon as we stepped in. We had all of the instructions we needed, check in and out was easy and there was plenty of information provided about Hay On Wye. The garden was fabulous too, although still a little chilly to sit in unfortunately. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it.

Literally the only thing that could have been slightly improved was a more powerful shower, but I suspect that is a local issue with water pressure.

The property was exceptional quality. The host had thought of every little detail to make our stay perfect, such as leaving a pint of milk in the fridge and teabags/coffee. The decor was beautiful and the addition of soft wool blankets and comfy cushions made it really cosy. I can’t believe how good value it was and would certainly stay again in future.

The accommodation was the best in Hay on Wye! We've stayed in a number of different places and this beats them all! Beautifully presented, very well equipment and totally relaxing place to stay. Having the sitting room and dining room meant we didnt have to eat out each night. Would highly recommend this to anybody thinking about staying in Hay on Wye.

I really can't think of anything negative, it was all more than expected, wish I had been staying longer.

Lovely comfortable flat, loads of character. Lots of little touches. The well thought out welcome items were much appreciated as we'd had quite a long journey. The flat is in an amazing position and going to the bakers first thing for fresh croissants a few doors down was an added bonus. Everything was spotlessly clean and the touch of the Christmas tree was lovely, really made the atmosphere.

There was a problem with the television’s remote control so it was impossible to change channels . The light in the entrance way could do with having a longer timer for staying on as I found it went off before I could open the key safe and unlock the front door. This caused problems particularly when arriving in the dark.

There was very little that could have been better.

The location was absolutely fantastic - so easy to reach pretty much anywhere else in the town. Very handy to have the Spar next door. It was very quiet despite being on one of the main roads. In terms of the place itself - it was so clean and well appointed. It had basically anything we could need, including very thoughtful extras like local milk and bread.
