The communal areas carpets are dirty and there is a horrible smell . Communal door is not very secure . However the smell could not be smelt in the apartment .

Nice and spacious apartment . Only 2 of us stayed but would easily fit 4 adults comfortably. Nice touches , washing up liquid , hand soap and super cute mini tooth paste and brushes . Well equipped . Both beds were really comfortable .

I don't want to be told how much to write. The flat had everything we needed, and was about as soulless as any place I've ever stayed.

I had to call for the details on the key code for the keys to the door from the person renting it out. Pleased I had the info on my phone, then after requesting this I was simply cut off without any other conversation. I felt this was rude just to cut me off after saying 'I will send it!! Felt as though it was a real issue for them to pass this on and that I needed to get into the apartment even after an hour waiting for the text as informed. Kitchen not very clean, with dirty cleaning items left after the cleaner had been in and the toaster not touched as bread was left in the bottom. I threw the cleaning items left behind on the sink into the bin, as they were filthy. But the apartment was OK regards the general cleaning. A slightly dated apartment, which is large enough for a a small family short term visit.

The apartment had parking for one car that was fine within its own parking area and located in the Centre of the town, and close to all you need. Road can be noisy, but to be expected in that location, but not a real issue if you close the windows. Nice TV but unable to get normal TV, and few channels working with free view only and no instructions as we could find. It was fine for two nights as this was for work purposes, so the Pub was the first choice and not TV.

The bathroom was clean and functional, but the look felt a bit dated.

Location was excellent for the town centre, as it was easily walkable to the shops and restaurants. Great that it had off street parking for my car. Flat was clean, functional and comfortable. The pressure of the water in the shower was brilliant! Access to various paid channels on the tv was a bonus e.g. Prime, Netflix etc.

The kitchen needed a good clean. We couldn't use the oven as it smelt awful. We also put all the cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher before using it. The cupboards had out of date food in them, which could be removed. The bathroom just felt a bit unloved. The bath non-slip mat looked mucky, and the bath was chipped. I would suggest a shower was put in instead. It's much easier to keep clean.. I realise that the other tenants cooked quite potent, smelling foods, but airfresheners in every room are a little excessive.

The living room and bedrooms were lovely and clean. It was easy access to town. I may have a few minor issues with things above, but these didn't affect our overall stay, which was very pleasant. We'll be booking here for our next visit to Colchester.

Roomy flat with all the modern amenities. Short walk to the shops and restaurants. The park to walk the dog could be reached from several directions. The parking space for the car was off the street, right next to the front door.

the hallway entrance bit looks run down and the doors are heavy. the car park is very tight. and traffic is very loud outside but for an adults weekend away was fine.

We was impressed with it all, comfy sofa. smart tv. the host had things there such as toilet roll and towels. beds felt clean and comfortable which is nice. kitchen and bathroom clean and nice too!!

The ONLY thing that could have been improved was there was no hand towel in the bathroom so we had to use one of the shower towels which resulted in me and my partner having to share a bath towel but it was no problem.

one of the bedroom doors was broken. could do with a small laminated guide to the flat rules etc.. like Wi-Fi password & parking permit I found in the kitchen.
