Master bedroom was a bit noisy with the sound of the weir. Could have done with some coat hangers in all of the rooms.

Stunning house in beautiful location. Large and spacious with lovely wildlife friendly garden. Phil was great in sorting the BBQ out so it worked perfectly 😊 We felt like our stay was over far too quickly!

Some of the twin beds were not suitable for adults as a bit flimsy and it would have been useful to know that in advance.

The only thing we could suggest would be some additional comfy seating - we came as a family of six adults and there were two sofas (a two and a three seater) as well as some really gorgeous wooden carved furniture. The wooden furniture was absolutely beautiful but not the comfiest for sitting in for long periods of time.

We had a lovely time during our stay. The accommodation felt luxurious and had pretty much everything you could need. The setting was absolutely gorgeous. We booked this trip as a Christmas present to ourselves because we find it hard to find the time to get everyone together, and this was the perfect setting to relax in and just enjoy the scenic views and each others company. Everything just felt really luxurious! The hosts were really friendly and gave us plenty of information, you really got the sense that they couldn't do enough for you but they also left you alone to enjoy your stay. The beds and pillows were so comfortable!

We booked two of the houses for a family celebration and loved it here. The setting was peaceful with walks straight from the door around the property. Both houses were clean, comfortable and well appointed and the Mill was full of character. Phil and Melanie were very welcoming.

If I’d been a bit taller there are a lot of beams to duck under! The bedroom over the mill race may not suit everyone - perhaps provide earplugs?

Wonderful - full of character, lots of space, comfortable beds, just a great place to stay!

In the smaller units, you have immediate neighbours nearby that you can hear. The detached larger units would offer more privacy.

Nothing to be disliked you are out in the countryside by a river in beautiful ground. Only minor issue was the location of the charging point for electric vehicles as when a car was parked and on charge it made access to the parking spaces that more difficult but that could just be that driver not considering the amount of space they were taking.

Clear instructions within the email that were not an issue for me. The key box lock would be fiddly if you were not dextrous or your sight was an issue but the external lighting is effective to aid access

We stayed in the summer months and the room was quite hot. If a fan could have been provided in the room, this would have made it more comfortable at night.

The property was lovely, very clean and comfortable and in a beautiful location by the river. The facilities were all very good and the host made us feel very welcome.

At the time of staying, there was only 1 mirror in the property and no full length mirrors at all, which was a struggle as we had a wedding to get ready for BUT the hosts were AMAZING and kindly brought us 2 full length mirrors which immediately solved the problem. Thank you!!

The place was beautiful, outside area was even nicer than in the photos - perfect for sitting next to the river with a glass of wine watching the sunset!

    Nothing

The house and grounds were absolutely beautiful, we had so much space to be outside and enjoy the views. Phil had also recently built a communal BBQ that we used one evening and kindly allowed our children to pick the fresh eggs from the chickens. There is a tennis court and a lovely woodland circular walk with plenty of communal space to kick a ball around or play any sport of your choosing. Although each property was occupied it really didn’t feel like it, our stay felt calm and peaceful with Phil and Melanie on hand for anything we needed. We had two properties between our large family and going between the two was super easy and extremely safe with the grounds being so private. We will absolutely be back.

Mugs rather small, no shaver point in bathroom and could do with a mirror near plug socket so I could see to dry my hair.

Great location, clean and comfortable. Lovely area. Loved the way each accomodation had a different animal theme.
